The USS Princess Diana was heavily involved in the Berlyn Operation. Commander Lindsay Viceroy was handling both helm and tactical stations. It was Lindsay who blasted the first torpedo into the Ekosian capital. Lindsay is a Viceroy and a warrior. She understands the commitment to being a Star Fleet officer. She also understands what lethal force means.
Lindsay however was traumatized by the incident. She had been spending a lot of time with Dr. Sewen trying to deal with her feelings. She knew Katarina. She knew Werner and despite their politics, they were people. She had been to Leo's in Berlyn. She was messed up.
Lindsay felt alone every since the incident. It is common for fighter pilot to suffer guilt after a civilian attack.
She was laying on the bed thinking about the explosion after explosion. She was hoping to have at least one good nights rest.
She was about to nod off when Captain S'Nii entered the quarters.
Lindsay looked up and smiled. Apparently one good night's rest is out of the question.
