Elizabeth was pacing back and forth on the Operations platform of First Corinthian's Station orbiting high above Betazed. She was thinking of moves made against Nicole Branson after the romances between Orchid and Magenta over the past number of years. She had built a hatred for Branson.
One of the great questions was why? Some thought it was jealousy. Some thought it was prejudice ~ upset that a Coren had chosen a non-traditional relationship. Some thought it was motivated by Section 31 with a secret plot to make the King's Fleet, the Phoenix Federation and Branson herself just go away.
The new revelation is a prophecy discovered by Christine T'Nley. There is a legend within the annals of Betazed of a foreigner who steals the rings of Betazed and the Matriachy of Betazed. Elizabeth had taken steps to destroy Branson believing that she may have fulfilled the prophecy.
Now there is a new problem. At the UVic (pronouned You-Vic) gala, there was an incident involving two Vulcans caught by the BET.
The scene with T'Loridel Coren and the new Chancellor T'Ora celebrating at the end of the evening has lead Elizabeth to a new fear. She had created T'Loridel. She had been told by the Vulcan High Command to return the Vulcan Professor back to Vulcan and have the Orchid Coren mindmeld removed but she could not bring herself to hurt Loiza and the Coren family. She kept the Orchid Coren mind holding Vulcan around and now because Orchid liked girls, hell she married Nicole Branson, she shared the evening with the beautiful and upwardly mobile Chancellor T'Ora.
T'Ora could use this position to get in with Coren, especially Illyan and the rise of the foreigner could be beginning right before their eyes.
Elizabeth looked at her aide, "We have to get Branson back with T'Loridel. There is no one at the University who can remove the activated Vulcan mind meld so we need to distract her. I damn well do not want that f**king Vulcan here."
"Whatever it takes.", Elizabeth frowned.
