Not The Only One F**ked Today Empty

Christine was sitting on the couch in the lounge at the entrance of the RBC offices on the wej'veQ watching FBN when Bell came walking down the hallway. He tipped his hat, "Ma'am."

Christine smiled at her former lover as she watched the pundits review the potential outcomes. The pundits all agreed that the Federation is best served if the authority of Chancellor Kabarann is restored by saying that he did not have the right to put up the colony charter as part of the pot in a poker bet.

The trouble is the law is not so clear because of the Ferengi involvement. Komol has already said that his government believes the colony granted to the King s Fleet belongs to the Ferenginar Trade Federation and the colonists are trespassing on their Ice Dilithium mines.

Bell stopped and walked back in to listen. The tensions were very high. Chancellor Kabarann and his daughter Hon'Tihl have already said if Ishka is declared the victor, the Yot Medara and her task force will occupy the colony by force.

The invasion will either mean the withdrawal of the King's Fleet or worse yet, it's annihilation. The Federation and Starfleet advisors have already said they would not interfere if the Kabarann forces take back Reykja Penthe. Admiral Harper Madison called the colony's resources valuable but not worth losing vessels over.

Bell listened to the pundits treat the colonists like pawns in a game of chess. He looked at a very nervous Christine. He took her hand, 'We will get through this."

"Will we?", she asked, knowing they had all too often tempted fate lately.

"Care to bet on the outcome?", Bell tried to lighten the mood.

"If the Ferengi gets the charter, I will provide an entire unit to help with your safe evacuation including a military shuttle.", Bell offered.

"And if we get to keep the charter?", Christine asked.

"Then you are already a winner.", Bell held her close with his arm. Christine felt so safe when the Antican was around.

She looked at Bell, "If we win, you can take me right here on this couch."

Bell looked at her, "You don't have to do that."

Christine smiled, "I'll go start packing. It will save your marines sometime."

She looked out as others were hauling gear to the shuttle bays. They knew what staying I the wej'veQ could mean.

Bell stood there watching the screen as Councillor T'tan and President Coren emerged together. President Coren looked at the reporters, "This review rules that Governor Kabarann had the authority to put the colony charter up in the game of chance."

The room erupted in a furor. Daimon-Ress Komol shouted, "I told you so."

Aboard the wej'veQ, Sumner announced the movement of the Yot and the supporting task force. The Klingons were coming. Christine looked at Bell, "I told you so."

She frowned looking at the leather couch. It could have been the return of their great relationship. She wanted to cry over the loss of Cold Camelot and over the end of her and Bell forever. Today was just a horrible day.

Bell stood there stunned.

Councillor T'tan took to the microphone next. She looked at the loud audience.

"The King's Fleet provided a development permit for the city of Camelot on the colony of Reykja Penthe. The permit was placed in open review by both the United Federation of Planets and by the Klingon Empire.", the Vulcan spoke firmly.

The crowd was alive. What was she saying? Why was more clarification required? The Ferengi had won, right?

"At this time of review, no persons from the Ferenginar Trade Federation nor the alleged holder of the Colony Charter Zek Ishka came forward to protest the development. In fact, Mr. Ishka himself assisted with the construction of a casino in the city of Cold Camelot indicating his support of the development. Because the development permit included a re issuance of the colony charter, this document now supersedes the previous charter issued to Governor Kabarann. This means both parties are correct. Mr. Ishka did acquire the colony charter in a game of chance but this document was declared term complete by the Camelot development on Reykja Penthe.", T'tan, a former senior legal advisor to the King's Fleet command announced.

Bell was flabbergasted, "We won?"

Christine had a super big grin, "No way! You did it, you little bitch!!"

Bell repeated, "We won?'

Christine went rushing towards the couch. She could hardly tear her panties down fast enough, "We won!", she exclaimed pulling her skirt up.

Bell could not believe what had just happened. He unbuckled his belt and slowly lowered his pants. He was soon thrusting into Christine T'Nley in sheer celebration. She moaned with each thrust, "We won!"

Summer looked over at Parker Hatherton, both ladies smiling as they turned back towards Admiral Tan, "The Klingon Task Force is turning back."

Tan smiled.

Ishka was standing on the promenade looking up at the windows of RBC. The windows were all fogged up. All he could see was two hands placed against the glass. He knew what he saw.

At least he could take some comfort in knowing he was not the only one fucked today.
