Deveniss enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with Saehir Marrus. He had enjoyed spending time with the Romulan. He was enjoying a coffee when one of the aides walked up, "Admiral Deveniss, there is someone here to see you."
Deveniss got up and followed the aide into the gym. He looked at Commodore Rochelle Hatherton, "What the hell are you doing here?"
"Deveniss, we have a problem.", Rochelle looked at the old Selayan.
"There is no we. You left. You chose the Hatherton Fleet.", Deveniss snapped.
Rochelle dropped the robe, "We have a real problem."
"By the gods, how the hell is that even possible?", Deveniss looked at Rochelle.
"We need help.", Deveniss looked at Rochelle.
"I have to find Hulanen Laree.", Deveniss snapped.
"And Dr. Greene.", Rochelle demanded.
Hulanen was overjoyed. This is the goal of her project. Skye looked at Rochelle, "As near as I can determine, your body will expel the hybrid in an egg which we will keep warm and hatch. In a way this is a good thing. Birth will be easier because the offspring is smaller."
"I am pregnant by this thing! How is that a good thing? I was only screwing him to hurt him and leave for the Hatherton Fleet. He hurt Michaela!!", Rochelle snapped.
"Thanks.", Deveniss looked at the human.
"Can it be aborted?", Rochelle looked at Skye.
"We could probably beam them out.", Skye muttered, a little disappointed.
"Let's do it.", Rochelle looked at Skye.
Deveniss grabbed her arm, "Wait. I have had two daughters. They are both deceased. This may be my last chance at immortality. They only have to be in there for a little while longer."
"Don't be an idiot!", Rochelle snapped.
Deveniss sauntered from the room feeling a little sad.
