Nicole and Vincent were walking out of the Chancellor's office having spent the day listening to both representatives of Star Fleet and the Romulan Star Empire screaming at them about the fire at ROME and about the repairs that were already underway.

The Romulans were upset that Commander Teero was coordinating the repairs on Romulan soil. The city is considered Romulan territory but the truth is with the Romulan Empire Fleet crippled by the losses to the Archem in the Delta Quadrant, repairs would take years without Federation and in particular without Omega Fleet help. The Romulans do not like to hear that they are incapable of anything right now. The regional Praetor is also an arrogant cuss who sees Nicole as beneath him and Vincent.

Both Nicole and Vincent were very tired when Christine and her crew blasted up to the them. The media has not changed; not from 2008 to 2385. Nearly 400 years has brought no growth in the cooth of the paparazzi. Christine began screaming about Nicole's protection of the young Romulan Student T'Liama and about the truth about ROME.

Nicole was tired and shrinked back a bit. Vincent snarled, "The girl lost her parents, you viceral vermon. Nicole got her into the academy. Nicole got her life back in order. She can smile today for the first time since the fire because of Rear Admiral Branson."

Christine was furious but she knew she could edit over the image. The Omega News Network would continue to postulate the theory that Admiral Viceroy was running the colony anyway. Christine would continue to throw out accusations that Branson was only a figurehead.

Vincent and Nicole tried to brush by the reporters when Christine blurted it out, "T'Liama will be extradicted back to Romulus. She will be placed in a Romulan Academy and trained in the Romulan ways."

Nicole turned around, "No she won't!!"

Nicole became emotional at the observation. Vincent however was as stoic as ever, "How do you know?"

Christine flashed an extradiction paper. Vincent was furious. They had been in communication with the Romulans all day and they had made no such allegations or requests.

Nicole screamed, "You can't take her away from me."

Christine smiled, "So you admit to having an affair with another student!! Is this one a murderous member of the Purists too?"

Nicole screamed, "You little bitch!"

Vincent snarled, "Ladies! Nicole shut up. She has nothing and it is none of her business anyway."

Christine smiled, "There is no extradiction, you self indulgent hedonists. I just wanted proof. You cannot hand pick students for your taudry affairs. This is not your personal herum. You two are not fit to lead."
