Robert could not believe how beautiful the city was. It would be an honor to serve her. He had arranged for his federation credits, earned on the Caitian homeworld to be transferred to an Omega Prime Credit Union. He quickly arranged for an apartment, nothing too fancy on a police officer's credits. He also arranged for a hover car lease and headed for the station.
He was honored to learn that the Mayor had already arrived. He would be interested in meeting the symbol of this beautiful city. Robert arrived at the station, dressed in his uniform and stepped back outside. He was most impressed. This is an amazing place. He was deeply saddened by its unlucky location, being prized to the fledgling Cardassian Democratic Government, the Romulans, and even the Breen. This would and could mean the potential for terrorism, or worse an all out attack.
This however was out of his hands. He thought to himself. How can I as a police officer make myself most useful to Omega City and to Omega Planet to begin with? Robert smiled and started to stop people on the street to check their assigment papers. Robert loved regulations. He however was also a very personable "cat" and spent as much time visiting with people in Omega City.
He has affectionately become known in the downtown as "The Cat in the Hat" for always wearing his police hat. Robert spent the day visiting, checking papers and introducing himself to the community.
Many humans laughed at his name. His mother was a huge fan of Earth history and in particular, the larger than life characters it contained naming him General Robert E. Leo after the famous Civil War General of Earth and his younger brother Galley Leo after the astronomer and Inventor. Robert hated when people called him "General" so he always refers to himself by his second name "Robert".
He felt more as a politician than as a police man but it is important when taking on the role in a new community to be known to the citizenry.
