Nicole walked into the war room. Caleb and Vincent were discussing the bombing pattern. Nicole looked sternly at both men. Vincent looked at Nicole, "Thank you for coming."
Nicole frowned as Phillip joined them. Vincent looked at Phillip, "Has Mr. Teero been informed?"
The Governor looked at Nicole, "Industrial Replicators are being moved to the area as we speak."
Nicole looked at Phillip upset that the Caitian had been informed prior to her arrival. Vincent looked at Nicole, "We have approached Dr. Magenta Coren-Branson about leading the post assault Tokyo. She has accepted the position."
"My Magenta?", Nicole blurted out.
"She has a working relationship with the senior staff of the processing plant and understands the process of crystallizing the Omega enriched Dilithium. She is the perfect choice.", Vincent explained.
Phillip simply nodded.
"What is the assault?", Nicole looked at Vincent.
"Once we have the conference of the civilian government, we are gonna solve the Tamarian problem.", Vincent frowned.
Admiral Tim Veltkamp and Commander T'Loridel walked into the room. Tim looked at Vincent, "The senior command of Starbase 185 have been informed of the approach. We have the confidence that the United Federation of Planets sees value in a safe and stable refuelling station at the DRS and will not interfere in any operation on Phoenix Federation soil."
Lori looked at Vincent, "The Vulcan Republic wants to secure the peaceful harvest of Dilithium and the training of students at the regional Academy. The Vulcan Republic's primary interest is in its own safety. The Vulcan Republic will not interfere in any operation on the colony."
General Kabarann entered the war room, as if on cue. Hon'tihl loooked at the gathering staff, "There is great glory in great victory. The Klingon Empire will sing the praises of this great victory in Stovo'Korr."
Nicole shook her head. This was not the colony she wanted to build. One where the Phoenix Fleet and Phoenix Defence League will be used to instill loyalty at all costs.
Commander T'Ros slowly entered the room followed closely by many Romulan Officers. She looked at Vincent, "The Romulan Empire would like to see the devilish Tamarians crippled. Our enemy is your enemy. We will not interfere."
The entourage left owing to the great pomp and circumstance of Vorta'Rome and its leadership. Nicole shook her head. T'Ros may be the most dangerous of the leaders of the city states.
"The last vote is yours, Nicole.", Vincent looked at Nicole.
Nicole rubbed her face with her hands. This was way over the head of the lesbian art student. She never thought that command would mean these types of decision. She literally started to cry as she slumped against the wall. Nicole blew her nose and wiped her tears.
"It is time to end this.", Nicole turned and walked away in tears followed closely by her mentor, Admiral Tim Veltkamp.
Vincent looked at Elora, "On this July 17, 2389, the Phoenix Fleet, the Phoenix Colony and the Phoenix Defence League enact the Tokyo Proclamation. The city state agreement between the Tamarian Alliance and the Phoenix Colony is revoked and the city is to repatrioted by any means necessary."
Elora looked to the console, "Captain John Warren, this is the Phoenix Colony Federation Complex, the Colony has enacted the Tokyo Proclamation. You have the authority to take back the city."
John looked at T'Zohl, "Inform the Diana and the Prometheus to prepare to engage the Tamarian city."
T'Zohl looked at the main viewer as Captain Terralon Lok appeared, "I will surrender command of the Diana to my executive officer. Decision may have to be made that I may not be capable of making."
John looked at Terry, "I understand."
The ship turned towards the colony. Alexander actually smiled. He long thought of attacking the colony as Captain of the USS Washington and TGCO of the Astronauts. He never thought he would ever actually get the opportunity, let alone in command of Phoenix Fleet vessel.
The devastation was overwhelming. The city lay in ruins. The death toll was huge. How is the colony gonna expand its citizenship now?
John contacted the surface, "Colonel Brown, you are welcome to enter the city. Inform Commander Teero that reconstruction can begin?"
Colonel Brown waved to the ships as they left low orbit. Victory had been assured. The Tamarian threat is no more.
The shogun is dead.
