The Romulans want the Artificial Intelligence Prototype, the so-called back up and are prepared to do anything to get it. The Romulans are now ready to use force to get the prize.
The problem for the Federation and in particular the command of Starbase 185 is that if they call for help, they will have to admit several things.
1.
They pirated the USS Wrath of Prometheus pillaging her of the entire Phoenix Federation database. A clear violation of the Phoenix Federation Charter.
2.
They were solely responsible for the destruction of the DRS (Dilithium Refuelling Station) by provoking the Red Queen at Terok Beta.
3.
They attacked and stole the AI back up from the cargo bay of the Cargo Ship T-Rex nearly killing its crew which was actually under control to the United Federation of Planets at the time.
As the Romulans begin to raise the stakes, Captain Alexander Paige and the staff of Starbase 185 need help and they know it. Where are they gonna get enough help to take on the Romulan regional task group?
There is only one answer - The Phoenix Federation. The trouble is what do they have that is enough to take on the Romulans...
