Nicole walked into the Phoenix Federation offices, "What the hell else are you not telling me?"
Nicole was still furious over the viral research being continued on the Romulan Virus as she tossed the PADD on the table. Vincent picked up the PADD. The HUD floated in the air of the USS Black Dragon being swarmed by the Magog.
Vincent rubbed his chin. He knew of the attack. He had learned from the logs of the Black Dragon and the Ironman Fighter Squadrons. He watched as the attack played again.
"The USS Black Dragon and the Black Dragon Task Group are assigned to President William Hunt. They are his priority, Nicole. He is not one of us. He comes and goes as he pleases. He has not lived here. He and his unit will have to take care of their own.", Vincent walked away calmly.
"He could be dying. His husk could be being used to breed these ferocious monsters. What have you done in response?", Nicole almost squeaked as her voice filled with worry.
"I did as he has done for the Plato, for the Asaoki. I prayed for his survival. I prayed for his successes and hoped that other ships in his task group responded.", Vincent frowned.
"So you compare yourself to Alexander Paige. This is what he did for the Asaoki.", Nicole snapped.
"Never compare me to Paige.", Vincent stepped right up to Nicole.
"We have to do something.", Nicole was seriously worried about William.
"I will have Summer relay the message from the Black Dragon to any nearby vessels.", Vincent tapped a few buttons.
Nicole looked out the window at the pink and purple sky of the Typhon Expanse. She knew that awful things were occurring up there and now down here.
