William was continuing to slip in and out of consciousness after he was transported to the Black Dragon. Samantha continued to stay by him except to find out if there have been any updates on the location of her sister Jennifer whose body guards were discovered dead and Jennifer missing. She also looked at her father wondering why he looked so much in pain since the doctor had given him something to ease his physical pain unknowing of the emotional pain that he was reliving. As he lays on the sickbay table unconscious he flashes back to the destruction on New Terra and the loss of his wife Amanda.
William finally made his way to his home seeing the door blown open and hearing the sound of disruptors and phasers going off throughout the house. "Alpha Team go capture the Klingon transport so these bastards can't escape. Beta and Gamma Teams follow me" he said as he made his way into the house. As he entered the living space he saw the Klingon Warrior burying his Bat'leth into Amanda's chest lifting her up as the sparks erupt from her chest. At that moment he felt himself die a little as his heart began to shatter in his chest.
"AMANDA!!!!" William's blood curdling scream erupted though the room as he began running towards the Klingon Warrior.
The large Klingon threw Amanda down onto the ground and laughed. "Mr. Hunt your wife died with honor. You however will be my prisoner" he replied wiping the fluid that protected Amanda's systems off his blade.
Losing his self-control William gripped his rifle and slammed it into the Klingon's face as if his rifle was nothing more than a baseball bat and not a rifle. As he threw his ruined weapon on the floor William pulled the two daggers he had received as a gift from his wife from behind his back and charged. The Klingon was surprised to see Hunt appearing with two swords as he came at the warrior with a scissor motion aimed to decapitate him. The Warrior just missed losing his head with a quick bock with his Bat'leth. As William's blades slide collided with the Klingon weapon sparks flew from where the blades interacted. Neither warrior had noticed that the sound of battle was over as both of them continued to parry and try to gain an advantage over the other.
The Klingon commander growled as Hunt's blade cut him across the face just missing his eyes. "Surrender Hunt or your death will be slow as you watch us burn your planet" he said trying to intimidate Hunt into surrendering.
William still full of rage shouted at the Commander "Just die already!" as he brought his twin blades down and severed the Warriors wrist. Wanting to make sure he did not miss his chance he slide inside the Klingon's reach and spun the weapons around slicing the warrior across the throat watching while the Klingon's blood pumped out.
Even with his wife dying on the floor next to him William still respected the Klingon Warrior's code of honor. The turned to him as the Klingon lay dying and said. "You died with your honor warrior of the Empire. I have killed you in combat to avenge the death of my mate and your afterlife be filled with glorious battle." As the Klingon took his last breath William looked around and saw the bodies lying across the floor the sole survivor of this battle he made his way to his wife. He made his way to her dropping his weapons on the ground. "Amanda my love I am so sorry" picking her up and started to carry her to their bedroom.
As he places her on the bed she slowly looks up at him. "It's OK William this wasn't your fault. I wasn't strong enough and he got the upper hand" she said her voice slightly above that of a whisper while her eyes started closing. "I'm so tired my love I want you to know that I will always love you from now until for....." she said
He falls to the floor as tears start to slide down his cheek he begins to mourn the loss of his wife. "Amanda" he called out to her "Amanda, please wake up" he started to beg. "Amanda" he continued to call out his voice getting softer and softer as he was overcome with grief... he climbed on the bed they shared and laid next to her holding her and listening to the sound of the raging battle outside.
After a period of time William awoke wiping the tears from his face as he opened the back of her head and pulled out her memory engrams and placing them in his pocket. He bent down and picked her up of the bed as he carried her out to the back of the home and using the utility shovel from his pack began to dig her grave in the garden that she loved. After he finished digging he gently lowers her down and begins to shovel the dirt back in. After several hours of digging and filling he finally finishes he takes a moment and looks at the freshly dug grave and taking the weapon from the Klingon and Shoved it into the ground tying her communicator to the Bat'leth using it as a grave marker. William places the weapon into the ground the looks up in the sky. "Goodbye forever Amanda you will never leave my heart" picking up the replacement rifle he salvaged from some of the dead droops he left to meet up with the rest of his troops vowing to himself never to return to that home until every last Klingon on New Terra was dead or dying.
William awakens and looks up "Samantha how long have I been out" he said as he can hear the sadness in his voice.
"Oh father you're awake I was so scared" she said giving him a hug. "You have been out for days Mrs Lavigne kept coming up here while you were out. Aunt Nicole wants me to call her the second you get up it's about the loss of the CO and Xo aboard the ship."
"Where is your sister" William asked wondering why only one of his girls was around.
"Dad Jenny has gone missing Nicole and Vincent is doing a search of the planet and they can't seem to find her. After things settled down from the bomb everyone went to the house to check on her but all we found were her guard's dead with a knife to the throat and her missing. My AI is out looking for her with the Prometheus and Nicole isn't too happy about my AI matrix stealing a ship but she knows that once I put my mind to it who could stop me.
William sat stunned over the news.. His daughter is missing.. His little girl missing..
"Secure the ship" he said sitting up. "All hands this is the president effective immediately I am assuming command. All crew Red Alert and report to battle stations." He stood up and thought to himself that someone was going to pay very very dearly for what happened at the colony and someone will die when he finds who took his daughter. He strolled out of the sickbay his daughter still shocked.
Samantha runs to the nearest computer and opens a channel to Nicole. "Nicole we have a problem......" as her channel gets cuts off and the Black Dragon prepares to go to war.
