Vincent looked at General Smith. The bug man was looking at the two behemoths on the platforms of the Jarada Ship Builders. Vincent turned to the General, "Are you on schedule?"
"We will soon move the ships to the Lily Pads and then prepare to take them to Space Dock at Governor's Station. The total refit of the Pioneer will be done very soon and the virtual rebuild of the Eagle is almost complete.", the Jarada looked at the Commodore.
"I can see by your smile that you are pleased.", John looked at Vincent.
"You have no idea of how important this is for us after what has happened since we moved to the Amanda Corridor.", Vincent looked at the bug man as Nicole entered the platform.
Her "ohhh" gave her joy away. There is nothing more impressive than seeing these giant ships on the ground. Vincent looked at Nicole and smiled. He was the old man of the sea. He had seen these ships built for the Kings. Nicole was still a child of the navy, seeing the universe through that child's eyes.
"Has Morris been told?", Nicole asked.
"He has been informed of the approval.", Commodore Viceroy responded.
Nicole looked at Vincent, "I wish I could have been there when he was told."
Nicole thought back to being told by Rear Admiral Jake Anderson that she would be taking over the Academy on Outpost 294. A tear came to her eye thinking of how Morris must have felt knowing that the Prometheus would join the Eagle and the Pioneer to take his Hellraisers into the Beta Quadrant.
Nicole looked at Vincent, "Have the crews been informed?"
"Gul Varno has been out several times to get an update on the progress of the Eagle. He is most overjoyed to be joined on the crew by his wife Ro Anora.", Vincent smiled.
"Will there be other significant changes in the Colony battlegroup?", Nicole asked.
"Samantha Hunt has been groomed for command her whole academic career. She will be given the training role as commander of the Plato. Captain Vanessa Sanders has agreed to serve as Executive Officer to help mentor Samantha through the growth.", Vincent smiled.
"Commander Keystone has agreed to continue her own development as an officer to serve under Captain John Warren at the USS Quasar Quest.", Vincent smiled.
"There is no better teacher than the best of them all.", Nicole smiled.
"There may be a few more but those are the main ones.", Vincent smiled.
"She will soon be tip top.", Amy walked up to the pair. Vincent smiled seeing Captain Turin finally returning to the role of commanding officer. She has struggled in this role twice before including the infamous loss of the Archangel.
"Just like the colony.", Nicole brought a chuckle to the group.
