Nicole Branson had not represented the Phoenix Federation much since being asked to step down as Vice President over her actions including literally whoring herself out to maintain the peace with the Federation in the Typhon Expanse. The need however to have a senior member of the Phoenix Federation present to end the tensions in the region which began with the tragic Orange Crush incident.
Nicole sat with Governor D'Solos Vreenak as the Klingon contingent was represented by General Hon'Tihl Kabarann, the regional Klingon authority. Ambassador T'Ken sat with Praetor T'Ros as the Romulans put the treaty of Alpha Trianguli on the table with the goal of setting up a neutral zone surrounding the Phoenix Federation. The H'Atoria Edition of the updated treaty will allow for the entry into the Phoenix Federation only under the authorization of a member of the Phoenix Colony Command, represented at the table by Commodore Tania Branson.
Christine T'Nley covered the treaty and also covered the Romulan detailed description over the loss of the RSW Eagle's Talon. Christine T'Nley knew that Ambassador T'Ken was lying as she broke up in tears as she described the use of the weapon.
The Treaty will forbid the use of the weapons developed at Jersey. Since the weapon does not really exist, the agreement was easy to get agreement upon. The Federation also used this as an opportunity to put limitations on Phoenix Federation vessels entering Federation Space around Starbase 234. Rear Admiral Eugenio Coren tried to get the Exploration of the Beta Quadrant on the table. This was quickly blocked by everyone at the table.
The only bizarre request was made by Hon'Tihl Kabarann. She asked for permission to do some mineral exploration near the Togre Reservation north of Kalama. This was granted but raised the eyebrows of everyone at the table. What were the Klingon's looking for?
