The colony is now dependent upon trade to survive, particularly with the recent happenings. The trade routes are simple. Betazed to Izar to pick up supplies and then on to Bajor. The route then goes ou to Ephyra for refueling back through Deep Space Nine to Betazed.
The King's Fleet has been tasked to protect the trade routes. The colony has been asked to providing Omega Ash on the route. Nicole Branson has been granted Bajoran authority over the region.
Trade brings rebirth. Rebirth brings peace.
