Major Tanus was on the Togre Reservation when Brigadier General Belvedere Brown made the call. Tanus was informed that he would be placed in charge of the Ground Forces on the Colony in addition to his service to the Dragons Special Forces Unit. Tanus was overjoyed. He thought his career had gone off the rails when he was ousted from the USS Normandy for poor performance.
Tanus came here to help the Dogs of War and their impecable reputation and now he was going to be their commander as the head of the Phoenix Defence League Ground Forces as their Chief of Staff. Tanus immediately informed his Dragons and then made a formal announcement across the Armed Forces Network to the troops stationed throughout the colony.
Tanus was buying a round of drinks when Evangeline showed up in her little red elf suit with a bottle of champagne for her man. Vengeance and Tanus were soon giggling and laughing in celebration.
Christine T'Nley had traveled to Forward Station Kalama to observe the announcement and was in the officer's lounge watching the cavorting going on. Christine has been at this business a long time and she knew that the colonists would be less concerned with the announcement then with the celebration, the romance and the celebrity status associated with the Ground Forces Chief of Staff. She followed Major Tanus out into the fresh snow behind the officer's lounge.
Evangeline kissed the Gorn on the snout. Tanus licked between her breasts with his large Antican tongue. Vengeance tore off her red shirt, "Take me, Tanus. Give it to me, Chief."
Tanus through her into the snow. It was cold but Evangeline did not seem to care one bit as the mighty Gorn showed his true colors and his love for the diminuitive street urchin.
"Oh Tanus!", Evangeline screamed.
Christine snapped the shot. She walked back into the lounge and ordered a Romulan Ale. She had some thinking to do. Was it appropriate to post the passionate images of the Gorn and his First Officer? Was it professional to act as a papparazzo in 2390?
The Omega News Network is the most watched network in the region. Even on Starbase 234, where FBN is readily available, ONN is the most watched network. Starfleet personnel rely on ONN for the real news. Christine paused for a moment and then put up the headline, "This is your chief of staff..."
She posted the picture with a comment, "Way to go, Vreenak! Nice choice!"
