Elora Vasa took the notes as the office of D'Solos Vreenak were introduced to the Tribal Council of Poros of the Primatos. Poros had asked for a list including pictures of the staff on the colony and on the ships in the King's Battlegroup. The images were requested based upon an information exchange for the population of the Primatos. No one was concerned that the great apes may have an ulterior motives.
The grand presentation was covered by ONN and even FBN as the Omega Academy scooped even the Star Fleet Academy in the discovery of Gigantopythicus H'Atoria. Christine T'Nley took careful notes as well in observing the incident.
Poros did not speak directly to Governor Vreenak choosing to speak to either Commander T'tan or Tokken in the language of the Togre. The Dialect of the Primatos is very similar to that of the Togre. Poros provided the image to Commander T'tan who looked stunned at the request.
Commander T'tan finally looked at Governor Vreenak and then at Commodore Viceroy before finally offering the explanation. No more attacks will occur at Kalama or The Villa by the Primatos if the Phoenix Colony agrees to the concession. Like Commander T'tan, Commander Shayna Edison will become the Matriarch of the Primatos and in so doing will become the bride of Poros, including all duties associated with the wifely responsibility.
"There will be no such agreement. This is 2390.", snapped Governor Vreenak.
Commander T'tan looked at the Romulan Hybrd, "My dear, it may not be as horrible as it may seem."
T'tan looked at Tokken and smiled. Vreenak was not amuzed choosing instead to be disgusted abruptly ending the talks with the Primatos.
Commodore Viceroy looked at D'Solos, "I think we should at least present the offer to Commander Edison."
"Don't be a foolish.", Vreenak snapped, "The Commander has already sacrificed her entire reality to be a member ofthe colony, we cannot ask her to sacrifice her honor as well."
"Look, the Klingon population has already lost citizenry to the Primatos. We disturbed their reality. Now we have to deal with losses in the Villa as well as means of extracting revenge on the Togre.", Viceroy continued.
Christine walked up behind the pair. Vincent turned back, "This is strictly off the record."
"You should make the offer.", Christine observed, "Commander Edison should at least have the option to say no."
D'Solos was disgusted. The whole discussion had set the women's liberation movement back several centuries. This tribal and city state rule was something out of ancient Earth not of a colony in the Beta Quadrant.
"I will make the offer.", D'Solos frowned. In the end, even for someone of Romulan heritage, it was the honorable thing to do.
