Shayna listened intently to the speech from Governor Vreenak and to her tirade about Women's Liberation and not subjugating any female to such a penance as to having to marry the Tribal Chieftan Poros of the Primatos.
Shayna Edison has been a lot of things on the Phoenix Colony. She arrived here with her brother Vance Edison and his Babylon Station along with Alexander Tennyson, the Minbari Engineer. She stayed here to help the colonists and to serve as an Administrative Aide to Commodore Vincent Viceroy. She moved into the role of Chief of Operations on a star ship and of late has been serving as a consultant on Governor's Station. She has been exemplary in her service.
Shayna looked over at Commander T'tan listening quietly and said, "What is it like?"
"What is what like, dear.", the Vulcan asked.
"Sex with the troll like Togre?", Shayna asked.
"The truth is biologically they are not a lot different than any of the humanoids on the colony. The only difference is their appearance and of course their size.", T'tan made a 10 to 12 inch gap with her hands.
"Oh my god, really.", the human Edison got a red sheepish grin.
T'tan made a 3 inch "O" with her two hands, "Of course, the size.", she repeated.
Shayna looked very embarrassed as she looked up. Commander T'Loridel read from the Villa Dissertation on the Primatos, particularly about the biology of the great apes.
Shayna and T'tan giggled like school girls when T'Loridel began to talk about their large size. It was positively un-vulcan like behavior and you could tell that T'Loridel was not amuzed by the behavior of the outcast T'tan. T'tan stood for exactly what Governor Vreenak was standing against. She gave of herself to convince Tokken and his Tribesmen to come in to liberate the Villa.
Shayna whispered to T'tan, "Do you think he would protect me?"
"Always.", T'tan responded.
"Do you think he could love me?", Shayna asked.
"Always. Tokken treats me better than any Ponn Farr Vulcan.", T'tan smiled.
Shayna would have been privy to the images from the meeting with Tokken when the mission first began. She would have seen the way the Togre treated T'tan as a queen.
Shayna looked at D'Solos, "What if I said I would do it."
"What?", D'Solos snapped.
"What if I said I would do it.", Shayna repeated.
"I can't let you.", Governor Vreenak snapped.
"It is not up to you, D'Solos.", Shayna snapped back.
"If she does this, all the problems regarding the Primatos Raids will be solved.", Nicole stood up. She had been quiet through all these talks.
Vincent looked at D'Solos, "Nicole is correct. This would end the raids and restore peace."
"I am embarrassed to force a women into this relationship.", D'Solos grumbled.
"I am not being forced.", Shayna responded.
"I am doing this of my own accord.", she continued.
D'Solos Vreenak met with Lindsay Viceroy about the shuttle responsibilities. She was to drop Shayna Edison in the Togre Reservation and then evacuate immediately. The Primatos attacks had been quite savage and Vreenak did not want the shuttle pilot to become a victim; particulary given her relationship with Commodore Viceroy, her uncle.
Shayna stood out in the treed region of the Togre Reservation as the Tribesmen of the Primatos. The great apes took her to the tribal city of Prime. The great stone city with its monuments to the historical power of the Primatos. Shayna was impressed by the architecture and its beauty. They took her into the great haul and removed her clothes.
Poros came in and stood before her slowly removing his clothes. She stood there with the braves on either side. They laid her on the belly on the floor and slowly walked from the room.
Shayna looked at Poros, "Do you speak the Federation Dialect?"
The great ape let out a great roar and then moved behind her. Shayna was scared by the great roar and by the sheer size of the giant ape.
Shayna could not believe how wonderful it felt. It was incredible. Poros looked down, "I think I could love you."
Shayna looked back, very happy that Poros could speak the language, "I think I could love you too."
