Christine pushed her way past Brooklyn and into the Complex Conference Room. Vincent and Nicole were standing with Governor Vreenak and her father, Captain Merken Vreenak, Mayor of Vorta'Rome. She blurted out, "What do you know so far?"
Merken turned, "The USS Washington has passed into a Solar Array and is dormant in space. No Romulan Ships have been exposed and the existence of the "Quick Sand" has been recorded for future Romulan Reference."
"That is what the Romulan stance is... It is okay as long as no Romulans were involved.", Christine snapped.
"I do not see a problem with the statement made by the official Romulan representative to the Phoenix Colony.", Praetor T'Ros entered the conference room. T'Ros nodded to Merken. The pair have gradually been repairing their relationship. T'Ros was not very happy when William Hunt took steps to remove her authority on the colony. Now she was even more powerful as the regional Praetor.
Christine looked at Nicole, "What are you recommending?"
Nicole smiled, "I am only here as a consultant. The Academy has no authority over any course of action."
Christine smiled, "I have heard that you have had a stronger recent association with the Federation. I believe the Federation Ambassador has been your consort of late."
Nicole turned a bit red, "I have comment."
"I figured as much.", Christine laughed.
"Is the colony going to become involved?", Christine looked at Vincent.
"At this time, the risks are too high. There will be no ships exposed to the hazard of the Solar Array until an effective control can be established.", Vincent looked at D'Solos.
Vreenak looked at Christine, "What he said."
Christine laughed, "Governor Viceroy, your puppet has spoken."
Vincent was not too pleased. D'Solos was furious, "You are finished here reporter."
Christine left chuckling...
