"Inform Commodore Viceroy that we are prepared for our mission.", Sanders looked at Autumn.
"Picking up the Drop Ship in 2.44 hours.", Autumn looked back.
Olivia looked at Autumn, "So what's the plan."
"Commodore Viceroy has authorized the use of whatever force is necessary to retake Starbase 234. We need to ensure that Star Fleet sees the Phoenix Federation, the Phoenix Fleet, the King's Battlegroup and the Phoenix Colony as partners in the region.", Commander Laree responded.
"I will inform Major Tanus of our ETA.", Olivia stepped up from the right helm and walked into the ready room.
"Major, this is Corporal De Marco. We are moving towards Kalama for pick up. If you have any last minutes arrangements, you should make them.", Olivia felt uncomfortable speaking to a superior officer in that way.
"Acknowledged. The Dragons will be ready.", Tanus saluted.
Olivia saluted back, happy that the Major had acknowledged her. She had found a niche as Operations officer aboard the Providence and served as the Marine liaison for Captain Vanessa Sanders.
Tanus walked into the drop ship, "Picked up in under two. Get your sh** together.", he barked.
Tanus walked out into the bush and tapped his combadge, "Meadow, sweets."
"Go for Coren.", Meadow announced on the comm.
"Meadow, we got the call from the Providence. We are going.", Tanus responded.
"Dear God.", Meadow responded. She knew that Rear Admiral Eugenio Coren was very pissed off over what had happened with Commander T'tan and his wife.
"What will you do?", Meadow's voice cracked.
"I am a soldier. I am gonna do what I am told.", Tanus responded.
"But this may be a suicide mission.", Meadow had grown very fond of the Gorn Marine.
"I understand the risks. I accept them.", Tanus responded.
"I don't!", Meadow exclaimed.
"I am coming out there.", Meadow snapped.
"What can you do? How can you help me?", Tanus responded.
Meadow beamed to the location. She ran and leaped into the arms of the Gorn. She held him so tight. She had had sex with many men in her life but she rarely made love to anyone. For some reason, she had fallen very hard for the Gorn.
"What are we gonna do?", Meadow burst into tears.
"I don't think there is anything you can do.", Tanus responded.
"There is one thing I can do.", Meadow looked at Tanus.
"What's that?", Tanus responded.
"Give you a reason to come back.", Meadow grabbed the belt on his marine issue Khaki's.
Tanus pushed her back against an old fence built by the Primatos and vented his nervous energy on the good nurse.
Tanus roared as he finished up in the nurse. He was Gorn and a big man. Meadow literally burst with groans in their merger of bodies.
Tanus walked back towards the drop ship. Commander D'Tall looked at him, "Major, we are ready. Where have you been?"
"I had something to take care of.", Tanus walked into the ship awaiting the Providence pick up.
D'Tall sat at the helm awaiting the docking clamp. She looked at the transporter signature in the woods and then at its home setting. She grinned, "Wish us luck, Meadow. We are gonna need it."
