The sound was deafening. The horror of the Borg breaching the upper atmosphere was filling the skies with thunder and lighting. Worse yet is the horror of the evacuation alarms filling every building on the Phoenix Colony.
Vincent was in his office watching students frantically run down the hallway. Vincent watched out his windows as students boarded evacuation shuttles. The students,
having experienced the fires of Omega were all too used to the protocols.
Vincent was embarrassed. He was their leader. He was here to ensure that the colony remained safe. He was the one with Fleet experience. He was here to make
sure the civil servant, Vice Admiral Nicole Branson did not screw it up. She was here to populate the colony. He was here to protect it.
General Robespierre arrived to gloat. Jean-Michel looked at Vincent and smiled, "I told you they would come. I told you that I would take my rightful place as leader of
the Pheonix Colony. No one and I mean no one could stand in my way. No one could warn the colonists. Anyone who tried had to be silenced."
The General left to find Nicole. He wanted to gloat. Vincent was left alone in his thoughts. Vincent soon realized the statement, "No one could warn the colonists."
He thought of the image of Victoria, bound and gagged in the bathtub. He knew instantly, that despite her flaws in the end, her conscience got the best of her. She
could not let the colony fall. She was, at her core, a Viceroy.
Vincent rushed from his office to tell Sgt. Leo. He bumped straight into Acrylos Teero moving down the hallway.
Acrylos turned to the Commodore, "There are four of them."
"Four of what?", a distracted Viceroy responded.
"Cubes!!", Acrylos yelled.
Vincent was snapped back into reality. He could here nothing but the sirens.
"What are we going to do?", Vincent asked.
"I have a theory.", Acrylos informed the Commodore walking over to the LCARS Console.
"Computer, engage Teero Alpha Three.", Commander Teero asked.
=/= The Borg learned of the substance through the assimilation of thirteen species, and were able to synthesize a single molecule of Omega. That molecule
also exploded, destroying 29 Borg vessels with 600,000 drones lost. The Borg, who referred to Omega as Particle 010, regarded Omega with near-reverence as they believed it to exist in a flawless state. =/=
"The plan is to accelerate the Omega Core to allow the Borg to see their god. To see their Particle 010. The colony will become heaven and therefore must not be destroyed. We will broadcast a subspace numeric sequence identify the
colony as the home of Particle 010 and heaven and warning the Borg away at all costs.", Acrylos proposed.
"Or they will assimilate us all.", Vincent responded.
"We are not permitted to use the Omega Molecule under the Omega Directive.", Vincent reminded the overzealous engineer.
"Not an active molecule, but instead the residual dead molecules in the surface of the planet.", Acrylos informed the Commodore. It will be an epipheny for the Borg.
The first cube became visible in the sky. Vincent had already sent the standdown order to the Yang Liwei. There is no point in losing every vessel.
"The prophets are with us, Commodore.", Commander Teero smiled, clutching an icon on a old rope around his neck.
"We have no other option. Let your project begin.", Commodore Viceroy informed the Commander.
Acrylos smiled.
"I have seen the hand of god. It was right before my eyes.",
Acrylos prophecized, slowly waving his hand in front of his face.
Acrylos tapped his COMM badge and across the entire
colony, the voice was heard.
=A= Particle 010 is alive and go. =A=
The colony was suddenly alive and literally vibrating as
the dormant molecules in the surface of the colony sprung
to live.
The clouds echoed with the words of the prophets...
"Oh father who art in heaven, hollowed by thy name"
The Borg cubes suddenly stopped as the code filled the
orbits of the colony.

"We are the Borg. We observe in reverence the existence of Particle 010. We hear and obey. Heaven can wait."
Acrylos heard the message. The entire colony heard the words of the Borg. The Battleground is averted. Heaven can wait.
Acrylos looked at Vincent as the Cubes withdrew from the
upper atmosphere, "Go, find Victoria. Go."
