"Why the hell would you invite her here?", Autumn shouted at Elizabeth as the gurney hovered into surgery.
"I never invited Mikaela. Someone else must have.", Elizabeth looked in as Dr. Skylight Greene began the work to save Commander T'tan. The Vulcan advisor to the Betazoid contingent on the colony lay on the gurney having been shot at close range by the black dressed Mikaela Coren.
Autumn tapped the comm. She demanded to speak with Admiral Illyan Coren on the homeworld. The request was denied.
Autumn put her arm on the shoulder of Elizabeth as she looked in sheer terror at the motionless T'tan. Skye came out of the operating theatre, "It appears to be some sort of boring tool. It was fired into her body and is now moving towards her vital organs."
"Get me Colonel Teero. I need an engineer.", Skye demanded.
Christina Lodge went rushing to find the Bajoran Engineer. Acrylos was quickly able to identify the tool as a Cardassian Assassin's Bullet. Skye looked at him, "Can you remove it?"
"After the victim is dead.", Acrylos responded.
"That is not acceptable.", Elizabeth snapped.
"Easy, Vice Admiral. We need a plan.", Skye looked at T'tan on the table.
"You'd better be quick. Once it reaches the target organ, likely the heart it will detonate.", Acrylos warned.
"Evacuate the hospital.", Skye ordered, "Inform Dr. Lo. Aeron needs to be told that the institute is at risk. Inform Governor Branson as well."
"Nicole!", Elizabeth snapped, "I do not want her here."
"The Institute falls under the Academy's authority. She is the Chancellor.", Dr. Greene responded.
"There may be another solution.", Acrylos looked at the group.
"If we had a scientist who could deal with the biological parts but was able to understand the engineering parts, this may work.", Acrylos suggested.
"Where are we going to get such a person?", Skylight responded half-sarcastically.
"There is such a person.", Autumn looked at both.
"Who?", Elizabeth looked puzzled.
"Dr. Orchid Coren.", Autumn spoke of her cousin.
"I don't want any part of Nicole Branson.", Elizabeth snapped.
"Commander T'tan could die.", Skye looked at the Betazoid Vice Admiral.
Elizabeth looked into the operating theatre, "Do it."
The fighter pilot walked onto the bridge of the Vulcan ship, "It appears that the Cardassian Rebel Faction has taken half of the colony from the Bajorans. It also appears that the Bajorans have turned to the King's Fleet for protection."
The Vulcan turned to the fighter pilot, still in his fighter suit, "Thank you, Lt. Commander."
"Your orders, Admiral T'Zer.", the pilot looked at the Vulcan.
T'Zer watched as Dr. Orchid Coren and Colonel Acrylos Teero saved the life of former Vulcan Institute Chancellor Commander T'tan. Images were broadcast directly from the surface to the Vulcan Ambassadorial ship.
"Your orders, Admiral.", the pilot repeated.
"At the ready, Lt. Commander. There is hope for them yet. A Betazoid Vice Admiral has put aside her differences to work with the Star Fleet Governor on a Bajoran colony.", Admiral T'Zer responded.
