Dr. Larle and Dr. Lodge were very close on the Quest. They had become lovers on the colony but now here on Ephyra, Casey took some herbal remedy prescribed by a young Prylar allegedly to make her feel whole again. In that sudden influx of Bajoran herbal magic, she became Klingon once again.
Casey was furious. She loved her human appearance. She loved her life. She loved Christina. Casey was not comfortable in her Klingon skin. She was soon furious. She was soon unbareable. She was soon on the outs with Christina and with the staff of the Quest.
John went to see Vedek Kira who informed him that Chikace need to come to grips with her Klingon appearance. John just wanted a damn doctor for his ship. He needed Casey to be a good officer. He did not care about her personal well being.
Casey arrived from the Bashir Institute to New Governor's to find Christina and Abby, the new engineer Abigail Warren kissing in the Quest Engine Room. Casey was furious and stormed off.
Dr. Chikace Larle went to Ephyra City to meet with Klingon General Hon'Tihl Kabarann. There was too much blood wine drank. There were too many stories about the rise of the House of Olarg and about the rise of General Hon'Tihl Kabarann all the way to the house of the Governor of the Phoenix Colony. Casey and Honey got way too drunk and told way too many stories.
Casey looked at Honey, "The Klingons are never gonna be anything more than an ancient enemy in the Alpha Quadrant."
Honey grinned, "We could be something more. We could be something special again. There are many Klingons in the Alpha Quadrant. They could come here."
"Yeah, the Bajorans would love that. They had 5 years of Cardassians occupation. They would love another domineering people in their midst.", Casey laughed.
Honey looked at Casey, "This is a paradise. Klingons take what they want."
Casey looked at Hon'Tihl. She had not seen the darkness since Honey tried to overrun the Phoenix Colony. Casey stood up and walked away from Honey.
She knew who she was now. She was an officer on the USS Quasar Quest. She was definitely not a Klingon... At least not like General Kabarann.
