Commander T'Ken looked at Nicole, "The Romulan Consulate confirms the destruction of the Omega Planet in the Beta Quadrant. There appears to have been an accident."
Nicole looked at her, "And..."
T'Ken looked at Nicole and frowned. When they arrived in the garden, Nicole had been her only friend. Now Branson was all gaga over the possibility that Dr. Orchid Coren was alive.
"The Romulan Consulate can confirm that there was an Omega Incident. Star Fleet in the Beta Quadrant is also confirming the incident but neither superpower is confirming any temporal incident.", T'Ken hoped it would make Nicole think about something else.
Nicole could think of nothing else.
T'Ken went into the kitchen of their tiny suite, "Romulan Ale.", she looked at the replicator. She had lived in a virtual mansion in the Beta Quadrant. She was the daughter of Praetor T'Ros and when she went to Rome, she was a goddess. Here she was nothing. Nicole had been her only rock and now that was slipping away.
"Why the hell did this happen to me?", she blurted out.
Nicole looked at T'Ken, "I never intended for this to happy but Orchid was my flower."
T'Ken looked at Nicole, "What am I?"
"Teekay... I know that you needed me but you are not in love with me. I feel it. You feel it. It is what is missing between us. Even if Orchid is not alive, it is ending between us.", Nikki looked at her Romulan lover.
"I know. I know but what will become of me?", T'Ken looked at Nicole.
"You are a Romulan and you are your mother's daughter. You know what will happen to you. You will dust yourself off and you will be fine.", Nicole hugged T'Ken.
The Romulan went up to get some sleep. Nicole could think of only one thing... Orchid. Her dreams were only of her...
