With those words, Much of the Hebetian art saved by Elim Garak was lit ablaze in the courtyards of Lakaria City. Legate Anwar then announced that the Cardassian Union does not acknowledge the Beta Quadrant history of the leadership of the Bajoran Colony of Ephyra.
Legate Anwar announced that the Cardassian Union does not recognize the liberation of Ephyra and announces that the Cardassian Union plans to annex the Province of Ephyra.
Legate Anwar then announced a bounty on the head of Admiral Vincent Viceroy and Governor Nicole Branson. Legate Anwar also offered a reward to any Cardassian who leads to the victory over Ephyra. He was speaking directly to Gul Vash Enranet and Gul Thua'ra Varno. These are the Cardassians that his new Union needs. If they cross, hundreds will follow.
Vincent watched the scene play out on all channels. He looked at Nicole standing with Commander T'Ken.
"What now?", Vincent snapped as he looked at the civilian governor.
Nicole looked at Vincent, "It is business as usual. The Cardassian Union does not recognize the civilian government of Ephyra. Well, Admiral, the civilian government of Ephyra does not recognize the authority of Legate Anwar and his Cardassian Union."
Vincent smiled, hoping for the blessings of Governor Branson. He tapped the combadge, "Captain Warren, Mount up."
