Nicole was in the mood to celebrate after a victory at Boston. Lisa had returned to the planet. Nicole ran across the office and hugged her in celebration. More and more people were returning to Omega Prime.
Christine was now ready to rename the planet, Territory Omega and the Phoenix Colony when she looked into the mirror in the morning. Her nose was bleeding. Her Vulcan-Romulan hybrid blood made her wonder about the biological weaponry. She left her office for the Dr. McCoy Teaching Hospital. Skye already had received more than a 1000 complaints. Non-Romulans were now suffering symptoms related to an inability to properly absorbed oxygen. Christine began to frantically ask questions.
Finally, she broke down, "What the hell is going on?"
Skye could only tell her the truth. The virus is now out of control. The victory at Boston may all be for not if the whole planet is dying.
Nicole stepped back from Lisa and puked on the floor. Everyone was startled. No one expected that response. Lisa screamed, "Are you okay?"
Nicole slumped to her knees, "I don't know. What is happening to me?"
She vomited again. Lisa quickly slumped down AND VOMITED TOO!!
Vincent tapped his combadge.

Skye was in full battle mode. She and Orchid were treating patients everyone. In the hospital room. In the hallways and even in the courtyard of the hospital outside.

Skye had no patience right now. She was frantic. She created this thing. It was supposed to battle the Romulans, not kill everything that breaths on the planet.
Vincent tried to respond but vomited across his desk. The mess was horrendous.
Acrylos had disappeared into the geothermal causeway under the cities. Vincent sent him a message via combadge text link warning him to stay under the cities until the virus was under control.
Acrylos then proceeded to send messages to the Liwei and to the Quest. Acrylos believes that the virus has mutated as a result of the antidote provided by the Liwei. The virus is now spreading across the cities. The growth is beyond exponential. Teero reports viral population growth at minimum of 100 fold. The entire planet will be infected within 24 - 48 hours.
The Romulans have begun a hasty withdrawal. There is no telling if the Marines from the Double Q were infected. This is the darkest day ever.
The plague has come to the colony. Death will soon follow.
Vincent is sick. Nicole is violently ill and dying. Things have changed for the worse.
