"U.S.S. Kitsune this is Deep Space Nine you are cleared for docking at Upper Pylon two. Please began docking procedures. We do request that you go a bit slower since your ship is bigger then most that come to visit our home."
"Understood Deep Space Nine and thanks for the warm welcome its the first one that I've had all week" Samantha replied ordering the helm to take the ship into port. As the ship completed its by the book docking Samantha made her way to the Starboard door and walked into Deep Space Nine.
"Captain a moment of your time" asked one of the Marine Officers aboard the Kitsune asked. "I wanted to run the ships security by you if you have a second Ma'am"
"Sure Colonel Shepard isn't it. You just transferred aboard from the Relentless if I remember correctly." Samantha said trying to recall the officers details.
"Yes ma'am," Shepard said with a smile and handing her the P.A.D.D with all the security information on it. As Samantha revered it she smiled.
"This looks great Colonel please implement this immediately." She replied signing off on it making it official. "If you will excuse me I have a date with a Ferengi and I want to make sure he doesn't run away before I speak to him.
"Aye Captain," the Marine said with a salute before taking off to implement the security arrangements while the ship is docked at the station.
* Five minutes later, Quarks Bar *
Samantha leaned across the counter to the terrified bartender. "Where is that small eared bastard hiding tell him that he owes me and he better deliver." she said grinning like a mad women.
"The Ambassador isn't here." the young Ferengi said with a quiver in his voice.
Samantha grabbed him and pulled him across the counter. "Quark get out here now!" she yelled.
The door to the inner office opened and out stepped Quark. "Oh Lieutenant McKnight" He said before noticing her Captain's pips. "I'm sorry I meant Captain McKnight what brings you to the Ferengi Embassy." Giving her his famous smile.
Samantha grinned and grabbed him by his ear and pulled him closer. "Oww.. oww oww let go" he said feeling the pain of having his gear nearly torn off his head.
"You know why i'm here and you now what ship i'm on and what my mission is. I want detailed information on what the Cardassian situation is. I want to know why the colony is constantly being attacked and I want to know why nobody in Starfleet seems to give a rats ass about whats going on. Plus you owe me a drink from saving your sorry ass a few years back and as the Rules of Acquisition state Treat people in your debt like family ... exploit them. So consider yourself being exploited and tell me what I want or your going to be short an ear" Samantha said giving his ear a good tug to make her point.
"Fine fine you win Samantha I'll get the information for you. I just need a day to hit up all my contacts." Quark said wondering how he can turn this situation into something adventitious to himself.
"Fine you have twenty four hours or i'll be back and I will collect on your full debt with your body." Samantha said as she released Quark and walked out of his bar.
