Nicole looked at Rosalie as she undressed for bed. As with every night, she rolled over to her small corner of their bed knowing full well her role. Theirs was a marriage of convenience. Thought Rosalie wanted the romance, Nicole just wanted the colony.
Nicole crawled into bed.
Rosalie looked at Nicole, "Why do you hate the Tellerites?"
"I don't hate Tellerites. I loved Penny.", Nicole looked at Rosalie.
"I know how you humans are. I went to Starfleet Academy.", Rosalie explained.
"Huh?", Nicole looked puzzled
"Unless you are human or at least humanoid, you humans tease, taunt and bully the classmates.", Rosalie remembered so many awful moments in Paris at Earth.
"I am not like that.", Nicole looked at Rosalie.
"I want to provide a home for everyone, for all species.", Nicole remembered Admiral Veltkamp's words when she first got involved in these worlds. You must provide a place to call home for everyone.
"Even me.", Rosalie looked at Nicole.
"Even you.", Nicole kissed her on the cheek.
It may be the first moment EVER for the pair...
