"Hello Samantha" William said to his sister in law as she wondered why he was calling her from the Delta Quadrant.
"Hello Bill i'm sure your taking care of my baby sister right I would hate to have to come over there and slap you one President of a government or not." she said with a smile on her face. "So I take it that Starfleet made a decision on the Kitsune?"
"Indeed they decided that while the ship is impressive they don't wish to waste the resources in building it. They also are not happy that the ship is running on an unconventional power source" Hunt said referring to the dilithiumless quantum warp core that was aboard the Kitsune. "The wonderful idiots at Starfleet have asked me to take my ship back and from what the rumor mill says they are going to put you on some transport in the middle of nowhere because your sister is my wife.
"Ya that explains all the transfers Starfleet sent me i'm currently running with just the Phoenix Federation Crew Member's." Samantha said gesturing to Luma Sai who was standing on the other end of the table. "Captain Sai sends his regards by the way he's in the meeting with us."
"Sam let me get to the point I want you to leave Starfleet and join my group, retain command of the Kitsune and protect our upcoming interests in the region." William said transmitting the necessary paperwork for her to keep her current rank and position aboard the Kitsune.
"Sure why they hell not" as she signed the paperwork and sent both that and her letter of resignation to Starfleet. So how are are the kids and my sister anyway" she asked gesturing for Luma to leave. He nodded and left her readyroom.
"Everyone's doing great your sister sends her love and Jenny is being her normal troublemaker. Samantha has become a good captain and you should be seeing her soon enough" He said with a mischievousness smile on his face. "Well I have to get going welcome aboard Commodore McKnight I expect you to visit the family more here on Atlantis." as the channel closed replaced by the Phoenix Federation Crest.
Attention, Computer Command has been reverted to Program Alpha One Status. Prefix Codes have been modified to Alpha One codes, Ship's registry is now listed under the Phoenix Federation. Ship has been assigned to Phoenix Federation Task Force Commander Commodore Samantha McKnight as of this stardate Replied the ships computer as everything was seamlessly transferred over. The Alpha One codes are those assigned to all Phoenix Federation Ships.

Location: Phoenix Moon
Time: Two Hours Later

It was evening on the moon when the drop ship entered the moon's atmosphere the crew was getting ready to begin its mission. "Mamma bird to flock prepare for operations." the team leader said as the ship dropped down. As the ramp hit the ground Tolan and D'Solos existed the ship with her and made thier way to a small hatch that lead to a hidden turbolift. As they entered the lift it began to speak.
"Please state authentication code ... Please state authentication code."
"Hunt, Samantha, Commanding Officer HAWC authorization Hunt-Sigma Five Five Five activate lift and approve access for station's senior officers." She said as the lifts lights powered on and began moving.

High Technology Aerospace Weapon Center
Location: Center of the Phoenix Moon
Time: Ten Minutes after the lift started

The lift opened up and the crew departed entering the connection corridor to the cities central tower. The city was huge she thought to herself remembering when she first came here when this entire area was an ocean and the city was floating gently upon the waves. Now this one location is all that is keeping the moon from falling apart and they are about to take it away. "Prepare the station for launch" Samantha said as she walked into the station's Operations. "Commander Vreenak please take the helm "
"Aye Ma'am" she said sitting down and powering up the large station. She noticed that only the massive shield was running off the cities power and the rest of the city was running off the station's auxiliary power system.
"Understood activate the Quantum Slip Stream Core set course for Camelot" Samantha Ordered.
"Captain without this station this moon is going to fall apart." D'Solos said.
"I am aware engage the drive system"
"No" She said as Samantha walked up and back handed the Romulan and threw her out of the chair.
D'Solos felt a twinge of pleasure as she hit the deck the first time she felt anything for a "Human". Her dream was to go back to Romulus a Hero and right now she is desiring Samantha to get rough with her again.
Samantha activated the Station's main engines located at the bottom of the ship and the former city of Atlantica vanished taking some of the moon with them into slipstream. Back on the Phoenix Moon the loss of the station could be felt as the ground started to shudder and cracks began to appear all over its surface. The Bajoran residence quickly began to make way to the evacuation ships some not making it and being thrown out into space. One could almost say this is Karma for the way they treated the residence of Ephyra and eventually some will speak of how this was the divine will of the Prophets showing how greed was unacceptable.

Location: Camelot Colony
Time: Three Hours Later

The crew of the Kitsune arrived at the colony after dealing with her own Cardassian problem a few light years away from the Starbase. Samantha was glad that the Klingon vessel assisted with this matter but wondered who the ship's Captain was and if they could be trusted. "Captain we are detecting a large Quantum wake approaching" the Kitsune's tactical officer replied.
"That must be our present from President Hunt but just to be on the safe side go to yellow alert and notify Nicole of what is going on."She said.
"Captain if these readings are right the ship will come out of slipstream in the planets gravity well. Looks to be on a large ocean surface.
"He didn't, Not that" Samantha said. "Nicole is gonna be pissed"
The sky turned red as the station's slipstream intersected with the colonies atmosphere and as if a sign from the gods lightning struck the ocean as if a battle between Zeus and Poseidon from the tales of old and as quickly as it started it ended and floating in the center of this battlefield sits a lone city.
"Open channel to the station." Samantha ordered as the connection was established.
"This is Samantha McKnight to Atlantica Station what the hell are you doing here." She yelled
"Aunty Sam" she heard a squeak from the channel as the visual channel was opened. Samantha would see it was the oldest of Hunt's kids
"So this is what your dad meant when he said that i'll be seeing you soon. she said.
"Yup, this facility is the High Technology Aerospace Weapon Center and our mission is to crate the Phoenix Federation's Next Generation Weapons and other Technology. Mom sends her love and says she misses you by the way." "Hi Kitsune your looking well" Samantha said talking to the ship's AI who for all intents could be considered her younger cousin since she was the brain child of Samantha McKnight while working on the Kitsune Project.
"Thank you" Inari replied "I am glad to see you too Samantha and thank you and your sister for helping pick out my name."
"Umm Aunt Sam i've got to go it seems like Aunt Nicole and Uncle Vince are a bit mad at me" she said with a small laugh.
"I'll come down with you I have a few things to discuss with them. McKnight out" she said as she closed the channel.
