Emma Crosby tried to kill Nicole Branson. She, like her father would have been comfortable to watch the Governor die. Now Emma was bound to Nicole by some sort of Tellarite witch doctor crap. Emma had a very difficult decision. She could become infected once more ~ and likely permanently and kill Nicole Branson. It would send the colony into disarray and her father and his Columbia Fleet rebels could be reborn on Camelot.
Nicole had been on Starbase 756. After the fall of the Quest, everyone is on high alert. She had moved her children to the station and Summer was looking after them until she could figure this all out. Several children had been taken to restore the voices of the Tacet Syndrome people.
Nicole walked into her living room to find Emma on her couch.
"But what happened? Your mouth.", Nicole exclaimed.
"You were cured.", Nicole gasped.
"We are linked, Nicole. Linked by the Porcus Potentia that Athena thought bound her to you. I did not understand how grateful I was to have my voice back. I loved you for it.", Emma typed on the text to speech PADD.
Nicole looked at her, "You tried to kill me. That is not love."
"Your father tried to kill a friend of mine.", Nicole continued.
Emma looked back. The ugly computer voice responded, "I took the syndrome back to save you. I used my own DNA to restore the syndrome to protect you."
Nicole took the science PADD from Emma. She looked at the medical information. She looked at Emma, "I still don't trust you."
"I don't blame you.", Emma got up and walked away.
