Casey was working in the Tanmesad sickbay when she was listening to a regular broadcast from the Klingon Homeworld. She liked to do it to practice her Klingon. The broadcast became garbled. She tried to adjust the frequency when she got a weird other broadcast. She listened in.
Casey now had something very valuable. The Klingons had not been major players in politics of the region in a long time. Casey heard General Kabarann talking to operatives martialing in the Alteraan Expanse. The Klingons were about to make a play in Cheron System and it looks like it is for Camelot. The Klingons are planning to attack the Romulans full on and to use Camelot as a base of operation.
Casey had a very difficult decision. Should she live up to her one half Klingon heritage or should she inform the Tanmesad Command of her discovery. The good doctor stood there looking the med-lab wondering. Tania came walking in, "Still on for supper... And whatever comes afterwards."
Tania winked but Casey did not respond as she had. They were in the puppy love phase of the relationship. There should have been a reaction.
"What is it?", Tania looked at her ridged lover.
Casey looked at Tania, "Nothing."
"Is there a problem? Is it me?", Tania was always worried about her Borg Disconnect appearance.
Tania turned to walk away, "Commander, wait.'
Tania turned back. Casey looked at Tania, "I know something."
"Doctor, you must share. That is an order.", Tania was suddenly very official.
Casey spoke in both Klingon and Federation Standard as she told about the Klingon threat. Tania immediately contacted Vash. Vash started up the chain of command. Vash contacted Vice Admiral John Warren. John called Illyan. Illyan called Alexander. The chain of command went all the way to Viceroy.
The Federation now had a choice to make. Inform the Romulans or let Klingons invade.
Pra had been in contact with Admiral Marcus-Brutus Pan'Taar. She wanted the Tellarite Fleet to protect Camelot. Marcus-Brutus shocked the Governor when he announced that the Tellarites would not move without the approval of Admiral Viceroy. This was her first experience with getting no response.
Pra looked at Nicole, "Help me."
Nicole called Bell, "General Brown, All troops at the ready."
"I have spoken to Admiral Coren. We are ready, Governor.", Bell smiled.
"I am not the Governor.", Nicole reminded the head of the Starfleet Marines.
"No matter what the title says, we know who is the Governor.", Bell looked at Nicole on the Heads Up Display.
Pra looked at Nicole, "We are in trouble, Nikki."
Nicole looked at the Tellarite, "Don't call me that, only Monica called me that."
"You shot Monica.", Pra reminded Nicole.
