Nicole Branson has earned fame on the Phoenix Colony for her rank. She is a mere 40 years old and has already achieved the amazing rank of Vice Admiral. Rumors have persisted and have been reported that Nicole Branson earned this rank by "allegedly" providing special services for Admiral Montgomery.
The Omega News Network has taken great pleasure in pointing out that the universe's most famous and notorious lesbian art student has been rewarded more for the performance of her "mouth and lips" than for her performance as a leader. The problem is Nicole can get things done. She knows what it takes to get things functional, from land agreements to political asylum and citizenship. It is how she has been able to endear herself to the citizenry. Even at her very worst, bring the plague to the colony, the citizens have stood with her.
Now she faces her greatest challenge. Sources tell me that Montgomery loyalists have already been in contact with Erica Lavigne promising to lift any sanctions against Branson in exchange for her support in the trial. Worse, a stern warning has been issued. If Branson refused to capitulate, her very existence will be raked through the mud as the attorneys for Admiral Bruce Montgomery point out her many flaws and how she became a Rear Admiral so quickly and raise questions about her association with Admiral William Hunt and her promotion to Vice Admiral.
I have taken pride in pointing out her flaws and she has many. I however know there has been no physical or emotional relationship with Hunt. She has been too busy with the women of Omega for any of that. It should also be noted that Branson has been able to successfully create 6 cities on the Phoenix Colony and with the help of the highly competent Vincent Viceroy has been able to successfully govern nearly 4 million inhabitants exemplified by the Phoenix Peace.
I offer only this advice to Vice Admiral Branson, helping this man abuse other women moving forward would be nothing less than a crime; perhaps worse than being unable to control of biological weapon that ended up saving us all.
