The horror that resulted from the aging of Tania Branson drove her crazy. One of the side benefits was that a lot of her Borg Implants were expelled by the aging process but the horror is that Tania looked about 65. She wanted no part of that.
It was easy to see where Nicole got her vanity from. Tania went to Catherine and got her help to go through the surgery necessary to tighten her skin, to make her look young again.
Catherine lectured Tania throughout the process that the surgery would only be a part of her recovery. She would need to find a way to stay fit, to be fit and to drive herself to keep her new skin and physique.
Tania had known Teshra Trmel from her service as Aide to Catherine on Observatory 642. She had always respected the Executive Officer and her recent decision to return to the Marine Corp. only caused Tania to respect her more.
If there is one thing the corps. is famous for, it is the incredible physical fitness. Tania had lost her prominence on Observatory 642 when Admiral Deveniss took over the role of Chief of Staff from Rear Admiral Catherine Coren. Catherine was now spending more time on First Corinthians then the Observatory. They were drifting apart.
Tania took the plunge and enlisted in Trmel's Terrorists. Teshra gave the former Starfleet Admiral the introductory rank of Corporal and put her through the paces. There would be no favouritism. Tania did not budge. She linked up with the unit assuming Deployment Communications and was soon a darling in her own right.
She loved to announce their battle cry on the radio, "Be Afraid!! Be very afraid!!"
