Vincent was in one of the worst states. He had a bunch of parents and commanding officers coming in to walk around the campus today in preparation for the September start up. He had all things dignitaries here and he had put the colony in virtual lock down with police and Star Fleet military presence everywhere after the attempt was made on the life of "show trial" Admiral Bruce Montgomery.
Vincent was very pleased that the Omega News Network had not called him out for all to see. The only reports had been about the trial. Vincent needed this to go smooth. He sipped his coffee and smiled.
Bobbi-Lee came over and sat with her man. She was so beautiful compared to the aging Admiral but she looked at him in a special way that few had ever seen or experienced. She held his hand. She wanted to speak but knew this was more a time for reflection and reassurance. She got up and poured another coffee and did a room sweep.
Bobbi-Lee sat down and gave a reaffirming smile. Vincent was a good man. He had graduated literally 2500 Star Fleet Cadets since he joined the colony. This group of parents would be no different than the last two.
That is, as long as we can keep the trial quiet long enough for them to see the beautiful campus and the wonderous city of Omega Prime.
