Christine looked at Vincent. She did not say a word but everyone knew that there was something wrong with the announcement.
T'Zohl looked back at John, "Where did they all go?"
John did not say a word staring a the large stellar map with no ships on it. John looked at Russia, "Contact the Archangel. The stellar cartography equipment is far more advanced the our old girl. Maybe they can explain it."
"Aye, Captain.", the beautiful Andorian responded.
Paul looked at Terza, "I got nothing."
The engineer looked at the tactical officer, "Is ghost a technical term?"
"Contact Admiral Viceroy, the Federation needs to be informed. The Klingon Empire may be represented by only a few hundred people. It appears that Chancellor neroC may have used some sort of temporal weapon against Kabarann.", Bethany theorized.
"Aye Captain.", Paul responded.
Elizabeth had already started heading for Earth. Starfleet may not be able to defend the planet in light of its own temporal losses.
Harper Madison contacted Vincent personally informing the King's Fleet Admiral that currently all Starfleet vessels are unaccounted for and asked Vincent for protection of the Earth. In a shocking announcement, Admiral Madison suggested the entire known universe population may be less than 200000 persons as census counts roll in.
Harper looked at the main viewer, "What the hell happened?"
Colonel Teero walked onto Station Ops at the wej'veQ, 'I believe that this is a temporal phenomenon and not a genocide. As near as my initial findings can predict, a temporal incident occurred here in 2394 which has messed with the temporal layering. We know the two original timelines, ours referred to as canon, the mirror universe and the rise of the Terran Empire and the the parallel timeline which saw Captain Nero destroy both Vulcan and Romulus which had a horrifying effect here when Vulcan and Romulus were taken away from the canon reality. This horror was repaired by the Branson Bisect but left our canon reality in an almost continual vibration state with the constant struggle to maintain stasis in these two blended timelines. It appears that something may have been done to break the tenuous bond of the Bisect. This may have been the use of.p temporal weapon in the Klingon civil war as has been speculated but irregardless we need to discover the cause and then repair the damage. Sooner rather than late, the longer we remain in this timeline the more energy required to repair the rift."
Vincent looked dumbfounded at Acrylos. He knew he was in over his head in the science of Temporal Realities. He looked at his old Bajoran friend, "Your suggestions, Colonel?"
"We need to know where we are before we can go ahead. What vessels still exist? What powers still exist? What is the balance of those powers and then we can proceed.", Acrylos responded.
"Make it so.", Harper quoted the legendary Admiral Picard.
