Christine had always been comfortable with her dark black hair, high Romulan eyebrows and pointed ears. She had been openly critical of Branson for the nanotechnology used to tighten her 46 year old skin.
Christine had been downright mean towards the Tellarites as many of the pig like aliens continue to move towards a more humanoid appearance maintaining only the snout and ears from their heritage. She accused them of abandoning who they were.
The retort has always been that humanoid is the feature of business. In 2394, trade is critical to survival and having the right appearance influences decisions. Christine has argued that they are only doing it for mating. She joked about the business acumen of Grace Gra'Naarg. Christine had always spoken out against Branson Beauty.
She stood in the waiting area at the Qach. She could not believe she was even there. Christine looked at Casey, "Can I go back?"
"Yes. The previous DNA strands are always kept in memory. The nanites can simply be turned off and the cells will quickly revert. The original technique was actually designed for espionage.", the Klingon doctor explained.
"Galileo's family is coming and I want them to see him with a youthful beauty and not a battle hardened field reporter. After losing Jessamine, he deserves better. His family needs to like me.", Christine sounded more like an Earth second spouse trying to please a new family than she did like herself, a Vulcan-Romulan hybrid with a bitch reputation.
Casey was pleased to see this side of the voice if the colony. She agreed to perform the surgery.
Galley brought his family to the incredible meal that Leo's across the known worlds are famous for. Casey had asked Christine what she was hoping for. Christine told Dr. Chikace Larle that she wanted to look like a youthful bride. Galley invited his new girl from the back to meet his family.
Galley's mouth dropped. Christine looked ravishing. He never expected the Branson Beauty surgery. His family had seen her on RBC, OWN and even ONN. She never looked like this. They were soon laughing and joking. Christine could not understand if the acceptance was a show of growth in 2394 or if we had all become so shallow that beauty made things more acceptable. She looked over at her Caitian lover and smiled, "I did it for you."
Galley teared up a bit. His big Caitian eyes watered over. It was very touching. Galley looked over and whispered, "And I am going to do it to you."
Christine felt excitement in places that had been dormant for too long. She had a wonderful relationship with a Bell. They have a son, Jakarta. She had a lot of fun with Tracklerca. She had an experience with Illyan Coren but all of those did not excite her in the way she felt at those words. Wow!
