The Place For The Media Empty
PostSubject: The Place For The Media   The Place For The Media EmptyMon Sep 08, 2014 7:34 pm

Admiral Deveniss offered the role of Fleet Chaplain to Ro Arroe after Landie Todd was given a Medal of Honor after meeting with Ro Arroe. In her acceptance speech, Warrant Officer Landie Todd personally thanked Ro Arroe for turning her life around. The speech was taped by both CBS and RBC.

Brittany Brown launched an all out search to discover what she could about this Bajoran was. Brittany would discover the fetish secret in the burgeoning relationship between Landie and Arroe. She learned about what happened in the office when Arroe was first courted by Admiral Deveniss.

Brittany was so overjoyed with the information that would and could bring down the future chaplain and perhaps even Admiral Deveniss for choosing her. Brittany walked up to Christine to gloat about her discovery and about going live with the biggest scoop in the King's Fleet.

Christine watched in horror as the Antican launched her viceral attack calling the Medal of Honor sniper a pervert and the potential fleet chaplain an abused spouse who has done more to illustrate the horrors of military life than help it with the ugliness of their relationship. Brittany went on the full offensive calling for the immediate stoppage of the choice of Ro Arroe as Fleet Chaplain and for the resignation of Admiral Deveniss as MACO Department Head. Reporters are supposed to report the news not dictate fleet policy.

Admiral Tan came to see Christine. The portly gentleman looked at his Vulcan-Romulan station mate. She had always been so critical of him and his naive way. She had called him a "child" in a universe of adults. Tan looked at Christine, "You have to fix this. She has ruined our position of strength with the enemy at the gates. I am begging you for help."

Tan actually teared up. Deveniss and Monica had literally gone from rival to good friends. Summer and Tan would host the fellow power couple for supper often. They would play cards.

Christine thought about what to do. She could pile on. She could win.

Christine slowly raised the house lights for her evening broadcast.

She sat there silent allowing all everyone to drink it all in. Christine looked at the screen and bluntly asked, "Is it the place of the media to be in the bedrooms of the Fleet Command? Is it the place of the media to question the choices people make in the bedroom?"

"We are here to report the news, even to question the ability of persons to perform their duties but what people do in the privacy of their own bedroom is entirely their own and sharing that would be totally unprofessional.", Christine looked up as Tracklerca.

The Bzzit Khakt pilot looked at Christine, "Now."

Tracer leaned forward and kissed the pointy eared hostess. He started down towards her breasts and the camera slowly faded to black. She whispered, "The place for the media is not in the bedroom. Never has been and it is way to easy for all of us to forget that."

She never commented on the CBS expose. She never commented on Brittany Brown or the Ro Arroe incident but in her own way, she set the Fleet back on the right path.
