"Any sign of her?", Vincent walked on to the Operations platform of the wej'veQ looking at his old friend, Tan.
"No sign of her, Admiral.", the chubby old boy continued to move from screen to screen as the King's Fleet continued to search for the Hon'Tihl Kabarann. The ship has become a rallying cry for an independent Klingon Empire. The Andorian Armada would love to bring N'Talya neroQ and the ship into custody.
It is truly cool that a student trained by Nicole Branson and the Younger Academy is now the focus of peace in the region. Trmel Shah has gone so far as to contact both Legate Phannell and Zek Ishka about a mercenary bounty on the Kabarann.
Admiral Paul Warren has been in contact with Admiral Richard Madison and President Monica Montgomery. Starfleet and the Federation would love to have the Kabarann in the midst and even to use N'Talya neroQ as a Federation imposed figurehead. A quiet Klingon Empire would give the Federation the two superpower Cold War it has wanted for nearly a century.
The Klingons have been friendly in the past but never as weakened as they are under the Andorian occupation. Minister Gowan has also confirmed that the Andorians have reached out to her government to form a sovereignty association agreement with the new Andorian Armada.
Franklin Stone has hinted that Paul Warren and Admiral Richard Madison are getting too close for his liking. He reported the late night conversations to the Fighter Command. Colonel Tracklerca has since reported the conversation to General Brown. There isa no believe amongst the Tracers that if Paul Warren can deliver the Kabarann, he will join Admiral Illyan Coren in the senior tactical group for Starfleet.
Vincent has been fiercely searching for the Kabarann calling in every favor he can to try to find the ship, allegedly in support of Admiral Paul Warren. Sources close Viceroy believe that Vincent would love to take back command of the King's so finding the Kabarann is critical.
Vincent called on Admiral Deveniss to get Commander S'Nii reassigned to the station. The Vulcan may have had trouble with command but her intelligence has never been questioned. Soon the Vulcan was standing next to Admiral Tan assisting the thorough Hierarchy Clanner in his search pattern. She smiled as the pair started reaching over each other. It was the first time Admiral Tan had smiled since then death of Summer Vasa as the personable gentleman responded to the smile from his Vulcan counterpart.
Saehir Marrus looked at Admiral Deveniss, "I may have found something.."
S'Nii rushed over and then back to her console. Vincent looked at Tan, "Inform Starfleet and Admiral Warren that we may have found the Bird of Prey."
Paul came out of the Commander in Chief's office. He just stood back and watched the King's Fleet senior staff do their thing.
These people have suffered some huge losses. Yet here they are working to assist a known enemy, Starfleet to try to help another known enemy, the Klingon Empire to find a very valuable asset. These people know that it is their current commander in chief who is going to take the credit for their efforts. Still, here we find them working together to get the Kabarann into Federation space.
Vincent rushed to the screen, "There she is."
Vincent exclaimed, "Get John and the Quest to run interference until she gets into Federation space. The Andorians will not want to take on Starfleet... Not yet.... They need the Cardassian Union first."
Tan turned to Vinxent, "John has to know that Paul will leave for Paris if this is a success. The may just leave the ship to be picked off by the Bolt. He has already lost a son."
"My father will do the right thing.", Paul stepped forward.
"This is a great post. How can you just use us?". Tan looked at Paul.
"Please Tan. You are a good man but you have to know that this is a silly post protecting a meaningless colony against a failing empire. The Fleet has four or five ships and a old station. Starfleet has 80000 ships in countless worlds.", Paul lectured Tan.
"Hey!", S'Nii glared at Paul.
Paul looked at the Vulcan, "Just find the Kabarann."
He glared at S'Nii, "You are exactly why this is not the dream post that you all think it is. You have scuttled four ships. You are at least partly responsible for the death of a legacy family member into the King's Fleet but here you are working on the flagship station. How is that even possible?"
Paul arrived in Paris just after Klingon Colonel N'Talya neroQ finished her meeting with President Montgomery and Admiral Madison. The Klingon was being prepared to go after the Klingon leadership as the Federation and Starfleet begins to arm the rebels. Richard sat on the chair waiting for Paul. The celebration was about to begin.
