James and Portia stood next to the console of the new climatology research centre built in the site of the Romulan destroyed Iconian Gateway. They were about ready to test the technology designed and built by Colonel Acrylos Teero.
The Bajoran came walking in with Louisa Ho. Both were smiling. Acrylos looked at James, "Thank you my friend. I could not have brought this together with all the help."
James looked at Acrylos, "Thank you, Colonel. I needed the work after the damage done to the Santa Maria."
Acrylos smiled as Bailey and Nicole walked in, "Governor and First Lady."
Nicole shook his hand, "This will work this time."
"Yes, Governor.", Colonel Teero offered.
Admiral Viceroy joined the entourage. He looked at Colonel Teero, "Captain Warren has the necessary patrols in place. The events of the return of the Santa Maria will not be repeated. I am so looking forward to a real cup of Bajoran coffee. No offence to your replicators but there is nothing like the real thing."
"Thank you Admiral.", Acrylos smiled.
"Starfleet will also comply with the prescribe no fly zone.", Commodore Portia Hatherton interrupted.
"Why is she here?", Teero looked at Viceroy.
"She is here because Starfleet has tremendous interest in your success and because she begged for the job.", Vincent smiled.
Teero walked away. Nicole looked at Commander James Vixxe, "We are good to go."
Acrylos walked over to Bailey, "After seeing you out on the Governor's mansion patio, it may be nice to have a couple of weeks of sunshine to get you out more often."
Bailey chuckled, "I like girls."
The equipment started up. Portia looked at James and Acrylos, "Let there be green."
Nicole looked at Bailey, "The garden of Eden awaits."
"In that Garden, Eve led humanity astray. Now we have two women. We a rebound to make things twice as bad.", Bailey teased.
