Jaskalla had got Mac off to bed and jumped into the shower. She was just nicely settled into the covers when she heard Nicole come home. Nicole had had a very rough time coming out of the KFIA hearings. The Romulans had won and they never let her forget it. T'Arren Suran was at Camelot more than Rhodes, allegedly for trade and diplomatic reasons but everyone knew it was just to remind Nicole that the Romulans had won.
Nicole had come home exhausted and slept. Jaskalla may have returned to the Governor's Mansion with her breasts exposed begging for forgiveness after learning about Nicole and Monica but they were not really back together. They slept in the same bed. They had even had sex that morning but they were not yet reconnected.
Jaskalla pretended to sleep. She just did not want to listen to another Nicole apology. Nicole quietly slinked in and had a shower of her own. She got changed. Jaskalla rolled over as Nicole came out of the washroom.
Nicole looked at Jaskalla, "Kalla, you were the one who came back to apologize. I should have been the one to chase you. I betrayed you and I betrayed our love to try to win an impossible case. I am the one who should be begging you for a place in your bed and in your heart."
"Looking like that sure helps.", Jaskalla giggled.
Nicole dropped the lingerie strings to expose her breasts and then let it slip to the floor. Jaskalla opened the blankets with a smile. Both ladies had been waiting for this connection to come back. They both believed it was still in there but were not sure when it would show up.
