Nicole looked at Jaskalla and then over to Ro Arroe. The Bajoran looked at Nicole, "Despite the revelation that the wasp is a secret vessel, you still betrayed your significant other by a sexual act with Admiral Montgomery. I know you have admitted fault, offered apology and restitution but you have not acknowledged your overwhelming need to further the colony no matter the cost"
"What do you want me to say?", Nicole asked.
"I want you to look at Jaskalla and tell her that in the future you will chose your lover over your colony.", the Fleet Chaplain acknowledged the governor.
Nicole looked at Jaskalla and true to say the words. She struggled to even mumble. Jaskalla stood up. Nicole looked her, "Wait!"
Nicole tried to speak again. It was hard for her; very hard. She lived for the colony. She had lost her career a couple three times. She had been embarrassed on too many occasions to mention.
Nicole looked at Jaskalla, "I chose you."
