Zoe had been spending a lot of time on the surface. There were renewed fears of a potential Klingon terrorist attack after the attacks on the forces loyal to Patruchio neroQ on the planetoids just inside Klingon space. This was wonderful for Zoe. She and her Zombies were relevant once more. This is however not wonderful for Vincent. Being apart was not good but being apart while your mate is enjoying being apart is very bad.
Monday came to Camelot to be relevant because her ability to get a chance in command of the rebuilt First Corinthian's Station was highly unlikely. She opted for the Nicole Branson mission because it would make her important in Betazed politics. When this too was blocked by Nicole's undying love for Jaskalla Naar'Haaj, Monday was left in an irrelevant Ambassadorial position in a small and insignificant buffer state on the Klingon border. Her career had once again stagnated.
Monday knew that Colonel Beamon had left for the surface and Admiral Viceroy often ate alone in the officer's mess choosing not to go to Ishka's or Leo's. She knew that he would then go back to his quarters alone. Monday had to take a chance. She had to try to be relevant.
Monday snuck into Vincent's quarters behind him and then followed him into the common area where he sat down on the chesterfield. He turned around to see the lovely Betazoid slowly unzip her one piece.
Vincent gasped. Monday looked at him, "We could be the ultimate power couple. You and I."
Monday slowly let the one piece drop to the floor. Vincent should have told the young Betazoid to leave. He was in a relationship with Colonel Zoe Beamon. She however had once again chosen the service over him. He should have respected that. He also should know that Monday is a upwardly motivated debutante trying to be relevant. He is no fool, but she was so beautiful. He forgot everything he was taught in the academy or learned by experience in the service. He just became a man.
