The exploration of the Delta Quadrant has largely been left alone. Very dangerous experiences observed by The USS Voyager and more recent experiences by the Federation Elite Force and Epsilon Force have led Starfleet to limit support of exploration in the Dark Delta.
The Andorian Armada had ventured into the Delta Quadrant briefly trying to establish a forward military base and refuelling station for future exploration. The Andorian Armada had commissioned Dr. Xact Tchilack to map a wormhole from Andoria to the Delta Quadrant.
Dr. Tchilack and Dr. Tegora Vasa had been successful aboard the KFCE Santa Maria in mapping the Andorian Wormhole and creating a runway for Andorian exploration and perhaps expansion into the Delta Quadrant.
The Andorian Station was nothing spectacular. It was a refuelling station and a control tower for Andorian space traffic in the Delta Quadrant. The station had had plenty of trouble keeping Andorian staff. There were many dangers with new races and new problems and Andorian Fleets do not want to be stationed out there to serve only as escorts.
Admiral Gareb Trmel knew that Xact could get the King's Fleet staff member through the wormhole. Gareb knew the Klingon attack was coming. He made the offer to Vincent, "You can staff the Andorian Jumping Off Point. You can even name the station and your ships will be given full authority to protect it. You can even rechristen the station. You only have seconds to decide before the Klingons destroy everything."
Vincent stood with Tan and Deveniss aboard the Andorian station. He looked at Nicole, "We will go on. We have to. We are Kings and we belong in Camelot."
