The Return to Isolationism Empty
PostSubject: The Return to Isolationism   The Return to Isolationism EmptySun Mar 03, 2019 10:39 am

Christine T’Nley has always wanted to be more; to do more. She left the Federation Broadcasting Network for the Omega Colony and founded the Omega News Network so she could tell her stories; so she could the voice of excellence in the Federation. She has founded networks on worlds throughout the worlds.

Christine even believed she had found love with the Antican General Belvedere Brown but now with the Federation blockade, she has been told that her role as Chief Information Officer for the King’s Fleet was silenced. She is not permitted to broadcast or to announce anything beyond the surface of Badlands 827.

Christine was furious and demanded a meeting with President LaBarbara. She was going to lay it on the line. She started but LaBarbara weaved a tale of his own. He spoke of a decade of manipulation by Branson and her cohorts to create appeasement with aliens. Branson uses people including T’NLey to further her “everyone is the same agenda”.

LaBarbara offered Christine an alternative. She knows the inside of the King’s Fleet. She could help discredit Viceroy, Tan and Deveniss. She could help bring Branson down.

LaBarbara lectured the Vulcan Romulan Hybrid about the power wielded by the King’s Fleet Admiralty. All three of the triumvirate have been in command, however briefly of all 60000 vessels in the Fleet. Branson once ruled the Federation as its president. She is immensely popular and the victories at Bajor and in the Cardassian Union have continued to amass her popularity.

Christine looked at LaBarbara. She was thinking about the offer. LaBarbara then told her that she was manipulated into a relationship with the Antican to help further Branson’s one species agenda. LaBarbara can be very convincing. He is a politician after all.

Christine thought about her sexual relationship with the dog-like Antican and was suddenly mortified. She looked at LaBarbara, “I am interested.”

Robert E. Leo was in the concourse of the Circle with Dr. Carnation Coren when Christine T’Nley appeared on FBN and began to describe the manipulation of people to want to intermingle and to create a singular species in the universe. T’Nley spoke very highly of the ideals of the Federation but spoke about keeping the races pure. She spoke highly of the Romulans and the Vulcans. These races have a quest to maintain their purity.

Carnation started to tear up hearing one of her mentors speak in this way. She put her arm inside the arm of her Caitian lover and rested her head on his shoulder.

“I am okay with the intermingling of races.”, Carnation winked.

Robert smiled, “As am I.”
