“It is just better this way.”, Vincent looked at Tan.
“I should have seen through John and Russia playing us to get the Quest back to operational status. I was played by the Andorian and by the Task Force Commander.”, Vincent explained.
“I will stay on as Chief of Staff. I will monitor the staffs of our vessels. We cannot have this infected our other ships.”, Vincent grumbled.
“I do not have the skills to operate the fleet, Admiral.”, the Portly Tan looked at Viceroy.
“Of course you do. You commanded Starfleet.”, Vincent exclaimed.
“Please! I was given the role so I could be manipulated by the Joint Chiefs. My gentle nature is a front for the public.”, Tan looked at the roof.
“Tan, you are a kind soul but you are a keen judge of character. This is why you made such a good Chief of Staff.”, Vincent smiled.
Captain Vanessa Sanders came walking over over and put her arm inside the arm of Admiral Tan. Unfortunately this was the image that Christine used on FBN to announce the leadership change in the King’s Fleet. It furthers the agenda that the King’s Fleet is promoting intermingling of all species to further their alien agenda.
It is truly sad that the Tholian Hybrid creating in a laboratory to further the link between the Tholian Assembly and the humans is being used for political gain. Vanessa and Tan have a sweet relationship. He is a Clanner who was cloned and with sexual organs. She is human on the outside but her insides are of such extreme temperatures that if anything entered her, it would likely be singed away. They have a relationship of the mind. She enjoys his innocence and he enjoys how others look at him because she is extremely hot, both literally and figuratively.
Tan looked at Vincent, “What about Deveniss?”
“The Selayan is a great leader and a brilliant tactician but he sleeps twenty hours a day. He can be a trusted advisor but he cannot be in charge if he is not around.”, Vincent smiled, “It is all you, Admiral Tan.”
Vincent frowned, “And your first order of business is to fix the Double Q issue.”
“Lucky you.”, Vincent frowned.
Tan contacted John aboard the the USS Quasar Quest. Tan began with a simple question, “How’s the ship John?”
“Fully functional and ready for service, Admiral.”, Captain Warren responded.
“And the crew? Commander Trmel and your senior staff.”, Tan remained calm.
“They are fine.”, John looked at Tan. The Captain furrowed his brow.
Tan looked right at the viewer. He spoke in a tone I have not heard in a very long time. Tan looked straight at the screen, “Good John.”
There was an awkward pause then Tan continued, “If you do anything like you did with Russia and Vincent, Vanessa will command the Quest. Am I clear, Captain Warren?”
The whole command deck on Station Sisko was quiet. The entire bridge of the USS Quasar Quest stood quietly.
“Aye, Admiral.”, John snapped to attention. Message sent!
Vincent looked at Tan. John was Vincent’s friend. He could never have done that to John. He had made the right choice. Things need to have an order to them. This was clearly order.
