Ships of King’s Fleet
United Federation of Planets Leadership
Admiral Walter Windsor has never been found of the regional fleet authorities both in regular existence or as a training ground for leaders of Starfleet Command. He has been openly critical of leadership of Admiral Vincent Viceroy, the incompetent leadership of Admiral Tan of the Hierarchy, and the absentee leadership of Admiral Deveniss. Windsor’s daughter Monica served in the King’s Fleet and allegedly had an alien affair. Walter was furious. He has solidified his power and continues to lead Starfleet Command.
After Starfleet sanctioned then Admiral Hadrian, the King’s Fleet was in a bind. It was Fleet Task Force Captain Christian Moyer suggested reaching out to his father. Suddenly Admiral Gabriel Moyer was in charge of King’s Fleet. Christian now has to deal with his father. Be careful what you wish for…
After losing a vote to restore the original King’s Fleet leadership, Admiral Gabriel Viceroy resigned as the King’s Fleet Commander in Chief. He was almost immediately appointed Starfleet’s Regional Observer for the Klingon Theatre.
King's Fleet Leadership
The King’s Fleet was founded in 2370 by Admiral Vincent Viceroy and Betazoid Admiral Illyan Coren. The Fleet operated as a branch of Star Fleet in the United Federation of Planets protecting Betazed from Governor’s Station. The Fleet operated for 6 years in this role before disintegrating into in-fighting.
in 2380, after 6 years of disbanding, the King’s Fleet was resurrected by the Rear Admiral Nicole Branson to protect the Omega Colony in the activities of Tim Veltkamp’s Omega Fleet. Branson almost immediately gained strong support from Admiral Vincent Viceroy. Their friendship and his sponsorship would help Branson enjoy a spectacular career rising all the way to President of the United Federation of Planets.
In 2383, the King’s Fleet joined the Phoenix Federation, a rival separatist movement chaired by President William Hunt. The Fleet protected the Phoenix Colony establishing some of the greatest members of the King’s Fleet.
in 2385, the King’s Fleet became its own entity operating colonies near Bajor (Ephyra) and others including Rekja Penthe, the Federation stopover point between the Romulan and Klingon Empire.
Ships kept functional, in good repair and prepared for use by the Selayan Admiral Deveniss of Selay
In 2400, 20 years after the Fleet began, the ships were once again discovered by the fallen prison transfer crashing on Rekja Penthe. This is their new story.
Governor's Station
Admiral Tan of the Hierarchy
When the last King’s Fleet colony failed, Hierarchy Clanner Admiral Tan of the Hierarchy followed Admiral Deveniss to Rekja Penthe and began the painstaking task of rebuilding the seventh Governor’s Station. The doomed station is in direct homage to original station that once orbited Betazed.
Admiral Christian Moyer - Fleet Commander In Chief
Christian Moyer failed at the Star Fleet Academy in San Francisco on Earth. He was chastised for not following the rules and professing that his idols were Captain James T Kirk or Captain John Warren. Moyer would join the King’s Fleet as an Academy Student and as a Provisional Captain serving as Tactical Commander about the legendary Quasar Quest. He was making legitimate progress when the King’s Fleet went dormant.
Thinking his career was over, he began protesting Federation activities. He was arrested for protesting the Klingon Federation Alliance. Ironically enough, the crash has set up to command the very ship he learned aboard. No longer a provisional Captain, Christian is now in charge of the Flag Ship of the King’s Fleet.
After his brief service as Task Force Commander, Christian has been thrust into the role of Fleet Commander in Chief after voting with Admiral Tan and Admiral Deveniss to maintain the rag tag fleet that is the remnants of the King’s Fleet.
He was hardly ready to be a Captain, alone an Admiral.
God help us all!!
Covenant Station
Covenant Station was built by the King’s Fleet 17 years ago and abandoned when Reykja Penthe was abandoned. It was supposed to just be space junk to be harvested by pilots until the Klingon Federation alliance began forming. Now it’s being refurbished and will be operated as a refuelling station by the Kings Fleet for both Federation and Klingon vessels.
Admiral Tan is a simple Hierarchy Clanner. The naive gentleman has enjoyed a tremendous run in Star Fleet serving to command the Dyson Sphere in the Phoenix Federation. His meticulous by the book nature allowed him to command various versions of Governor’s Station and Starbase 756. He has often served as the King’s Fleet Chief of Staff because his naïveté does not allow him to play favourites. He rose all the way to briefly command all of Starfleet. It was thought that his naive nature would allow him to be manipulated – definitely not true!!
Admiral Tan came her with nothing and meticulously reconstructed the replica of the original Governor’s Station orbiting the Klingon colony. It was his naive monotonous nature that allowed him the patience to keep going with purchased and salvaged junk.
The Stingers Fighter Squadron
Founded by Commander S’Ari of Vulcan, the Stingers have served the King’s Fleet both aboard the ships of the King’s Fleet and protecting the stations. With all the chaos around the Klingons, the time has come to reboot the fighter squadron. In the short term, the flight commander staff are conscripted to fly Stinger missions until appropriate staffing can be achieved.
USS Quasar Quest
The Trill process has been very unsuccessful when it comes to humans but it was very much worth a try when it comes to preserving the knowledge, history and expertise of Captain John Warren. It was Admiral Tan of the Hierachy who arranged for the merger of John Warren and a trill host creating the female Jamie Warren.
USS / CGV Tanmesad
The USS / CGV Tanmesad was first launched in the Omega Fleet under the command of exiled Gul Vash Enranet. The ship was believed to be a failure and Commander Tania Branson was placed as the Executive Officer. Branson was an exiled Borg who has been revealed as Two of Ten, the Communications Adjunct at Wolf 359. The project was set up to fail but has become an integral part in the King’s Fleet.
USS Archangel
All fleets need a medical support vessel. The Olympia class Archangel is just that vessel. The ship has a dubious history taking its name from another ship that was crashed by it commanding officer Captain S’Nii of Vulcan.
USS Providence
This Rhodes Island Class vessel was founded and commanded by Tholian captive Captain Vanessa Sanders who earned the ship a brilliant history by entering uncharted space. Sanders and her daughter helped make the ship the amazing vessel it is today.
USS Plato's Academy
The USS Plato’s Academy is the ambassador class training vessel used to help students learn the skills of flight command, engineering, medical, science and tactical. The ship has grown such leaders as Captain S’Nii and Commander Lindsay Viceroy.
