The Xindi Insectoids knew about The Marker, an AI driven defense station that orbited Delphi Ardu V and would literally shoot down ships that neared the former Tkon Empire colony. The trouble is that the Marker had simply settled to the planets surface when the empire fell many decades ago.
Finding the station would be a chore but having a large contingent of civil engineers who helped save the colonists in the Omega Pods on Reykja Penthe and a general location would certainly help.
Using the XSF Clack to scan the surface, Dr Daedalus Tchilack was able to get close to a general location. The civil engineer than took a group of his fellow Xindi Neoscapteriscus engineers to travel to the surface to try to free the AI Defence Station.
Dr. Himmler Tchilack reported to Admiral Deveniss of the discovery of the station. Dr. Tchilack warned the Admiral that once freed, the station would reassume its orbit and defense protocols. It will be very dangerous but if someone could get on board it could become serviceable for the King’s Fleet.
Captain Sunny Jo Warren reported the rising station from the surface from the bridge of the USS Quasar Quest.
Dr. Tchilack warned the Task Force Commander, “This is the easy part. Now we have to figure out how to get onboard and then figure out how to assume command. Please remember there is a general theory that the Tkon Empire was brought down by its own AI and they were able to terraform worlds and even create galaxies; just a little more advanced than us¦”
