"Father, I followed your directions to the letter. I was in the miner's cabin as you requested when Dex took the photo.", Pra almost begged her father to understand.
"Then what of the bond. What of the Porcus Potentia?", Jaskal shouted.
"How is Branson alive?", Jaskal threw the PADD's from his desk.
Pra stood up and waled towards the window. She did not have an answer for the ambitious Admiral.
"Ahhhh!!", she exclaimed, watching Brenna and Mac playing in the sun down by the river.
"What is it?", a preturbed Jaskal snapped.
"Father, you MUST check the security video from Starbase 756. I think you will find the binding spirit. We have gone about this all wrong.", Pra exclaimed.
Jaskal was a visiting Admiral. He was supposed to be attending galas not manipulating colony politics. He looked at Dex, "Can we do this?"
"We can do this. Tan is a good guy but not too bright.", Dex offered. Secretly, he was sick to his stomach. Colony brings out the worst in every race. Admiral Tim Veltkamp, Rear Admiral James Anderson, Admiral Vincent Viceroy and Nicole Branson all wanted to build a home for all races - a beacon for the best ideals of tge Federation abd Starfleet but instead they are a cesspool of the same politics that has come to the known worlds in 2393.
"What do you hope to find?", the wild hogs boss looked at the upstart Tellarite.
The image slowly began to appear. Admiral Marcus-Brutus Pan'Taar came walking in. Jaskal turned around, "What the hell are you doing here?"
"Politics is a dangerous game, Jask, my old friend.", Marcus-Brutus smiled.
Jaskal looked at the image, "Monica is alive."
"And in love with Nicole Branson, with the blessing of the Pan'Taar family.", Marcus-Brutus gloated.
"I've risked everything. My name is is on the university. My wife's name is on the hospital.", Jaskal frowned.
"You should be proud. The Tellarites are a proud part of the resurrection and are prominent in politics again.", Marcus-Brutus smirked.
Jaskal looked at Marcus-Brutus with an angry stare.
