The successful completion of the peaceful end to the Jersey invasion and the reconstruction at Tokyo is really the accomplishment of Commodore Vincent Viceroy, but the Commodore shuns the spot light. Nicole Branson continues to be the public face of Star Fleet on the colony.

I am a firm believer that this girl could fall into a pile of sh** and truly come out smelling and looking beautiful. Nothing sticks to her. She is only a Vice Admiral because she slept her way to the rank. She is only on the colony because no one else wanted it and yet she may be the most popular citizen. Everyone is concerned with what she dresses in, where she is going. The Omega News Network could literally increase its ratings by just following her around.
Now with new evidence that the Omega Sands located near Boston could be refined to become the most incredible source of Dilithium in the entire Beta Quadrant, the Vice Admiral is once again looking like a genius for trying to save the Lexington. This is not through grand intelligence, this is through blind luck.
The Omega News Network has learned that there is once again a grass roots campaign to have Vice Admiral Nicole Branson put back in as Governor. Dr. Skylight Greene has oversaw the colony through the Jersey invasion and through the USS Chamberlain crash and has been reluctant to be the public face of the colony. Dr. Greene legitimately fears the campaign but I never thought she would stoop to this level.
On November 1, 2388, Vice Admiral Nicole Branson was taken into custody under claims that she has conspired against the government including the use of falsehoods and illegal assembly. The charges are irresponsible, unbelievable and even reprehensible.
Vice Admiral Nicole Branson is a lot of things. She is incompetent. She has unbelievable luck but she is not a criminal and she loves and respects this colony too much to bring down the civilian government.
The Omega Prime Courts held the Vice Admiral for only a few hours but the message is sent. Governor Greene and Vice Admiral Branson are in a vicious battle for control of the populace and leadership of the colony.
