With the help of Lt. Nesada rhura're, the project to turn Omega Sands into Dilithium Crystals has begun. The project has thus far produced Dilithium only on a small scale until the factory opens but everyone is invited to the new Boston club, named for the most famous Boston club of Earth, Cheers to see the production in action.
Using a process developed here on Outpost 395, the Omega Sands are turned into Dilithium Crystals in the special environment created by the Typhon Expanse. Captain Kevin Vance of the USS Queen Elizabeth II took some of the sand to Starbase 185 and the process could not be duplicated there. It must be done here at the Omega Source making the colony one of the most prized possessions in the universe. The sand is here and MUST be processed here.
Commander Teero had the pleasure of turning on the sample warp core for all to see. The core is powered 100% by Omega Sand generated Dilithium Crystals. This is a monumental achievement and grand success story for Commander Teero, Commodore Viceroy and actually for the Lexington Launch mission which led to its discovery.
