Vincent was aware of the crazy Klingon running around but today was a big day for him and Bobbi-Lee. She was going for her baby checkup. He was more concerned with that than with some Klingon rogue fleet a long ways off. Vincent was holding Bobbi-Lee's hand when Skye told them how their baby was doing. Skye and Vincent had an old political history. She had defeated him for the Governorship a long time ago now. Skye however was a good person and a great doctor despite her poor performance as governor and her run-in with William Hunt. She told Vincent and Bobbi-Lee that their baby was doing wonderfully. She also prescribed some hormones to speed the pregnancy along. The hormones would allow for Bobbi-Lee not to have to endure the uncomfortable portion of pregnancy for as long reducing the pregnancy by up to 5 months as long as certain developmental criteria are met. Bobbi-Lee smiled.
Vincent was watching the screens as ONN New Talos covered the invasion of New Terra. Vincent looked very concerned when coverage showed the lead vessel on the Klingon Fleet. Vincent picked up a data entry interface. He enlarged the bridge section of the ship. He looked very closely.
Finally Skye looked at him, "What are you looking at?"
Vincent looked around, "Computer enlarge nose section and correct for distortion."
It showed a large ensignia for the House of Olarg. Vincent exclaimed, "Holy Sh**, Kreeg is not an ambassador, he is an advanced scout. A location target. Dammit!"
"I gotta go.", Vincent kissed Bobbi-Lee on the forehead.
"Wait, where are you going?", Bobbi-Lee asked.
"I gotta go to The Villa. The Vulcans are in trouble. The Klingons are coming! And they are gonna use Kreeg as a landing locator.", Vincent snapped.
Vincent rushed out. He grabbed his communicator, "Elora, I don't need a car. I need a shuttle right away. I will beam to the Federation Complex."
"Yes, sir.", the Administrative Officer responded.
Vincent headed out to The Villa.
The 2 large Birds of Prey were visible at the horizon. Vincent lowered the shuttle. He watched in horror as the Klingon contingent took the Vulcan Academy. He watched as the Klingons assumed control of the streets, literally herding Vulcans into the streets. Vincent contacted Nicole immediately to inform her of the situation.
His soul wanted to tell her that justice was being served after the 2386 Vulcan Invasion. He wanted to tell Nicole that the Phoenix Defence League would serve to establish a parameter and the city would fall under Klingon Control even to the point of offering them a seat in the Territory Omega Council but the officer within him reminded him that the Vulcans, however their history has portrayed them in recent memory, are part of the Phoenix Colony.
Vulcan Independence has taken a totally new tact. Is the Phoenix Colony, the Phoenix Defence League, the Phoenix Fleet Air Support and the Civilian Government prepared to risk lives to free the Villa.
