Nicole received word from Alexis Bladon confirming the rumors were true, Elora and Cherry Vasa were taken hostage by Klingons and now the Klingons were brandishing images of the event on Kalama News.
Nicole walked into the Legislature to confirm the kidnapping but she would have to take a number. Poor Tabrine Mandu was in a shouting match with the Mayors of the Colony cities as the Klingons begin to take their offensive to other centers.
Even Commander T'Ros was screaming at Mandu to show some leadership and allow the Phoenix Defence League more leeway in defending cities other than Omega Prime and The Villa. The Romulans shockingly also offered to open the door to Rome to the Anticans, the Dogs of War and the Hawks of Hell, the Talosians if it means keeping the war outside their walls.
Colonel Brown and Colonel Wayne were already engaged in the ground war as the colony became engulfed in Operation Omega.
Commodore Viceroy walked into the legislature. He too was soon under attack by the Mayors for his inability to stop the Klingons. Commander T'tan pointed to the monitors as images of Governor's Station being blown apart filled the room.
"We have the situation at hand.", Vincent lied through his teeth.
Nicole looked at Vincent, "Elora and Cherry are kidnapped. We need to make certain they survive. Elora is a mother."
Vincent looked at Nicole dumbfounded, "Look Nicole, there are men and women on the battlefield, all are mothers and fathers."
Nicole remained ever so naive.
